Dexter stared at the magnificent sight in front of him.
He was staring at a golden city, everywhere was covered in gold, from the roads to the buildings.
What made it weird though was the fact that there were miniature versions of himself walking around.
"What are they?" Dexter asked while pointing at the miniature versions of himself, that were roaming about in the city.
"Those are your mind workers, let's put it like that, they ensure that your mind is working perfectly." Ana explained.
Dexter just nodded, at this moment they were looking at the city from a higher ground but he could not see any mind flame.
"Where is the mind?"
"It is in the center of the city, follow me."
Ana kept on walking forward as Dexter followed closely behind.
He looked around and saw videos being played in billboards, Dexter of course knew that this were his memory he was seeing.
"So this is were all my memories get stored." Dexter mumbled.
They kept on going until Ana abruptly stopped.
"Why did we stop?" Dexter asked.
Ana didn't answer and just pointed forward, Dexter looked at where she was pointing and saw a fear creature.
He didn't know how to describe this creature, it was big with two horns sticking out of its head, it had red eyes and a long row of teeth.
Dexter realizing that this fear was in the center of his consciousness, he didn't need anyone to tell him this was the fear that might put out his mind flame.
Dexter covered himself in armor, brought out his sword and released his willpower.
He then charged towards the fear.
The fear sensed the danger and immediately turned around and caught Dexter's sword.
It immediately threw him and the sword away.
Dexter went crashing into a building not to far away.
As Dexter came out of the rubble there was blood at the corner of his lips.
"Deadly level." Dexter mumbled and charged forward again.
Just when he was about to attack the fear, the fear creature morphed.
Then before Dexter's very eyes, the fear creature became his dad.
"D...Dad!?" Dexter said with much difficulty.
His eyes became misty as he stared at the person he misses so much.
"Hello son." The fear creature said.
"Dad, why did you leave us? Why did you leave me?" Dexter asked as he walked closer to the fear creature.
"I'm sorry son, come over here let me hug you."
Dexter threw caution to the wind and immediately prepared to run to his father, when he heard something shout his name from behind.
He looked back and saw Ana, the Ana transformed and looked like his mom.
"Mom!?" Now Dexter was looking at two people who he missed so much.
"Dexter you need to snap out of it your parents may not be here but I am." Ana said, in the voice of Dexter's mom.
She knew that only his mom could draw his attention at this moment as he fought with the fear, that is why she chose to morph into her.
"Don't listen to her, I am your father, we can have all those cool father and son bonding times." The fear pretending to be Dexter's dad said.
Dexter looked at his supposed dad and looked at Ana who had become his mom.
He clenched his fists in frustration as he didn't know who to pick.
He then looked at the person that was meant to be his dad, there was a hint of calmness in his eyes.
"If you are really my Dad then answer me this how did you die?"
The fear seemed to be lost in thought as it tried to recall the cause of its death.
"You don't even remember your own death, pathetic." Dexter spat out.
Then he launched an attack towards the fear.
The fear didn't dodge and just morphed again but this time to his mom.
Dexter knew that this was the fear creature but he couldn't bring himself to hurt his mom.
The fear creature seeing he was not attacking again launched at him.
Ana immediately went beside him and pulled him out of harm's way.
"Dexter, you may not have your mom or your dad but you will always have me and as long as you are alive I will be there, so you can't die now." Ana said for the first time since Dexter had gotten her with emotion.
Dexter heard what she said and immediately opened his eyes.
He released his willpower and rushed to the fear.
The fear seeing Dexter wasn't buying his morphed form anymore changed back to it's original form.
Both of them clashed, the shockwave sent both of them flying.
Dexter already knew this was going to be a tough fight didn't back down.
He rushed forward again.
The fear creature realizing things were not going to plan immediately flashed from there.
In the blink of an eye he was far away.
"Hurry he is heading to your mind flame." Ana warned
Dexter wasted no time and gave chase, when Dexter was close to attacking, the fear immediately stopped and turned around which caught Dexter off guard.
Then the fear raised it's claws and implanted them into Dexter's chest.
Dexter fell to the ground as the fear ran away.
