Caden Lockwood spoke with deep sadness etched between his brows.
Evelyn Morgan was speechless. How could she be in love with Logan Shaw?
"But, no." Caden quickly contradicted himself, "As long as you stay by my side and do not suffer, I promise, I can give you the happiness that Logan Shaw gave you!"
"I did not..."
"Evelyn!" Caden interrupted Evelyn anxiously.
He did not want to hear any response from her now.
He feared that the answer would not be what he wanted to hear.
He knew too well that her answer would most likely not be what he wanted.
"Actually." Caden's hands unconsciously clenched into fists, "Actually, I am your big brother!"
