Evelyn still shook her head, looking at the meat she just grilled, and thinking of the piece he refused in the afternoon, she didn't have the courage to try again.
"I'll take you back to your room to rest," Caden Lockwood said, helping Evelyn to her feet.
Cecilia Lynch gave Evelyn a cheering gesture in secret, but Evelyn looked bewildered, her gaze falling on Caden Lockwood, not knowing what she should do once she returned to her room.
She was a "patient" now, and there were many things she couldn't do!
Taking a deep breath together, Evelyn could only follow Caden Lockwood back to the room.
Seeing him nervously unfold the quilt, urging her to lie down quickly and rest, her heart felt warm.
"It's so boring to sleep alone," Evelyn looked at Caden Lockwood, "Will you keep me company?"
"Okay," Caden Lockwood replied, "Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere? You didn't eat much tonight. Would you want someone to make some porridge?"
