Chapter 7 - Gourmet Girl 007

Mrs. Hayes had just finished speaking when Holly couldn't help but nod eagerly, looking at Leo with bright anticipation.

"Sure, I'll take you out to play later."

Leo gently ruffled Holly's hair, his voice exceptionally tender.

Holly's face immediately blossomed into a smile, joyful as a child who had received candy.

"Children are easily satisfied. How old is the little girl this year?"

Noah Raines looked at Holly and asked. The little girl seemed very young.

"I think I'm twenty years old."

Holly counted on her fingers and then slowly lifted her eyes to look at Noah, her voice a bit unsure.

Noah: "..."

Indeed, asking someone with amnesia might not yield useful answers.

Wanting to go out and play, Leo naturally accompanied her, watching as the little girl blossomed with happiness like a cheerful bird, making him feel quite good.

"Brother, I want ice cream, can you go buy it for me?"

Holly pointed to the ice cream shop across the street, stood on tiptoe, and looked at Leo with eager anticipation.

"Alright, wait for me here obediently."

Leo couldn't refuse. He gently ruffled Holly's hair and then headed across the street to buy her ice cream.

"Come out."

As soon as Leo left, Holly's expression changed, her previously smiling face now cold as ice.

"Boss."

Two men in suits walked up to Holly, respectfully greeting her with their heads slightly lowered.

"Why are you following me?"

Holly, with her hands in her pockets, coldly looked at the two men in front of her, her demeanor indifferent.

"To protect you."

The two men spoke, their tone respectful.

"Do you think I need it?"

Holly raised an eyebrow, a faint smile playing on her lips.

She didn't need anyone's protection; she could protect herself. The best way for a person to protect themselves was to excel at disguises, which was exactly what Holly Sawyer did.

However, her approach to Leo was solely to protect him, with no malicious intent.

"Boss, you indeed don't need it, but... do you truly want to stay and protect Leo?"

The two men exchanged a glance, and one of them hesitantly asked.

In their eyes, Holly was like a deity. They never imagined Holly would willingly disguise herself as an innocent girl to stay by Leo's side and ensure his safety.

"Do you dare to question my decisions?"

Holly raised an eyebrow, her voice icy, as if her gaze contained shards of ice.

"We wouldn't dare."

The two men immediately bowed their heads, lapsing into silence.

They indeed wouldn't dare, nor did they have any authority.

"The Pantheon's current mission is to protect Leo. Report back that the Grant Family in Arkenfall plans to target him."

Holly's expression grew cold as she slowly spoke.

Holly Sawyer was always one to repay kindness. Since Leo had shown her kindness, she was determined to protect him.

The Pantheon was a mysterious organization that instilled fear, and no one would imagine its leader was Holly, who appeared to be harmless.

"Understood."

The two men immediately departed as Leo was about to return with ice cream.

Holly's words were obeyed by them without question; they didn't dare voice any opinions.

Leo had just purchased the ice cream and turned around to see two men standing next to Holly, but in a blink, they were gone.

Leo began doubting his eyesight; rubbing his eyes, all he saw was the little girl standing alone, waiting for him.

"Holly, were you standing here alone the whole time?"

Leo handed the ice cream to Holly, suspiciously questioning her.

"Yep."

The little girl unhesitatingly nodded, looking completely serious, her demeanor innocent and childlike.

Many people choose to believe a child's words, firmly convinced that children wouldn't lie.

Thus, Leo naturally chose to believe Holly, who played up the innocent childlike nature.

"Brother, this ice cream is delicious. Want a bite?"

The little girl took a bite of her ice cream, her face breaking into a bright smile, offering the bitten ice cream to Leo with a soft voice.

She seemed like a little girl who didn't mind details, pure and harmless.

"Brother doesn't eat; Holly can have it."

Leo, amused, gently ruffled Holly's hair, speaking softly.

"Holly needs to understand the difference between boys and girls, got it?"

Leo bent down slightly, staring into Holly's eyes as he spoke.

"Brother, what does 'the difference between boys and girls' mean?"

Holly's dark, grape-like eyes stared at Leo, tilting her head in confusion, questioning him.

She seemed completely unaware, pure to the point of being naive.

"It means you shouldn't be close to boys, shouldn't share food with them, eat by yourself, understand?"

Leo immediately paused, looking at Holly, he gently sighed.

Is it that the little girl didn't know these things, or did she forget them after losing her memory?

Leo suddenly started doubting Holly's character, wondering if this was her personality before amnesia or after losing her memory.

"Oh, Holly understands, but..."

Holly feigned realization, but after a while, she looked down with a sad expression.

"What's wrong?"

The little girl's sudden sadness caught Leo off guard.

"But, but, can't I give it to brother? Brother isn't an outsider; brother is Holly's closest person."

The little girl blinked innocently as she spoke, gesturing with her hands, appearing clumsy and incredibly cute.

"Hmm, everyone except brother."

Leo smiled helplessly, lightly ruffling Holly's hair, speaking softly.

The little girl really was adorable.

Holly held her ice cream in one hand and Leo's hand in the other, wandering among the food stalls.

Unlike other girls who shopped for clothes, makeup, and skincare products, she wandered through the food street.

"Holly, don't you want to buy clothes?"

Leo looked at the bags of various foods in his hands, slowly asking.

"No."

Holly shook her head, biting on her milk tea straw, her cheeks puffed adorably.

The little girl indeed lived up to the reputation of being food-obsessed, focused solely on eating, seemingly gullible.

The two suited men hadn't gone far; they kept observing Holly and Leo's movements nearby, unsure how to react to Holly's behavior.

She truly amazed them.
