Caleb Sterling carefully put the gift into his pocket, but for the first time, he felt frustrated and dissatisfied with his rather shallow and not-so-large pockets.
He was afraid it might get damaged.

In order to divert Caleb Sterling's attention from the two paper foldings, Sierra Summers didn't hesitate to use a little melodrama.

Caleb Sterling's expression changed, turning serious. He held Sierra Summers' wrist, her five fingers waving in front of his eyes. Caleb touched them and they were indeed icy cold.
