Jenifer's POV
At the hospital, I was rushed into the emergency room. The Zach family members hurried over and waited anxiously outside for news.
Not long after, I was wheeled out in a wheelchair.
"Jenifer, are you okay?" Mable asked anxiously as she hurried over.
I was a little surprised to see everyone from the family waiting for me, but I quickly gathered myself and shook my head softly. "Mom, it's nothing. I'm fine."
I felt warmth blooming in my heart.
The doctor stepped forward from behind me and glanced at the Zach family. "Are you the patient's family?"
Aiden stepped up and nodded. "Yes."
"She has a fractured leg. We've already set it in a cast. Recovery usually takes several months, so please make sure she gets enough rest and brings her back for regular check-ups," the doctor said simply, handing over the medical records and test results.
Kolton quickly took them and went to pay the bill with the nurse.
