Jenifer's POV
I knew exactly what the secretary was talking about. After all, there were only a few companies in the fireworks business.
If I wasn't desperate for a deal right now, I'd probably have thought twice about taking on such a rush job.
"It's not all on her. Honestly, I should've made a decision sooner," Richard said, sending a concerned glance toward his secretary as he got up to speak on her behalf.
"Ms. Zach, if there's anything you need, just say the word. If it's within my reach, I'll make sure it gets done for you," he added earnestly.
Elise's eyes widened in surprise as she looked between Richard and his secretary, trying to figure out what was going on.
I nudged Elise lightly, and she instantly snapped back to reality, quickly shifting her gaze away.
"Elise, send this proposal to Mr. Randal," I said as I handed over the plan.
Elise took the document, got up, and handed it to Richard and his secretary.
