Chapter 8 - Chapter 8. Cursed Player(3)

There was a knock on the main door of the house. It was when we were eating the breakfast and I was thinking what to do next.

The things which came in my mind were too simple, complete the game but to complete the game I would need a lot of preparation if I don't want to die completing the game.

The man of the house—the father stood up from his place and walked to the main door.

By then I had finished most of my breakfast and was ready to get off the chair too.

I stood up, grabbed my utensils and walked to the sink to wash them.

The mother saw me doing and said to me with some complicated but sweet expressions, "No, you don't have to do it. You are our guest, I will do it. Just leave them there. "

I looked back at the face of the mother and gave a warmth smile. Such kindness, the only lady to give me such kindness was my mother.

I replied back, "No, I don't want to cause you any more trouble. Let me do it please. "

She stood up from her chair, walked to me, grabbed my dishes and said, "Please listen to me. You are our precious guest and so it is our duty to take care of you and provide you with the best hospitality we can but if you washed the dishes then in my eyes I will fail in providing you the best hospitality I could. "

I understood her words but causing her anymore trouble was the last thing I would want. But I also knew that there was no point in convicing her anymore and so I left my dishes in the sink and said to her, "Is it okay now? "

She replied with a very pretty smile, "Yes, now please enjoy yourself here. "

I replied with a big smile, "I will. "

And then I walked to the main door of the house. The little girl and the mother, both were looking at me as I could feel their gaze.

The main door was left opened, I walked outside and found myself under the beautiful morning sky. I was surrounded by tall orange colored trees and houses of the elves.

Infront of me was a crowd of men. They were having chat about something.

That crowd stood in a perfect rows and were also listening to someone standing at a upper ground to the crowd.

That someone was none other than the father of that little girl.

I could also see kids playing, running from here to there.

The ground beneath me was kind of wet. It was like it rained last night. There was a ladybug trying to cross my right foot.

I could hear the chirping of the birds coming from the dense forest surrounding me.

The crowd stayed there for few more minutes and I enjoyed the cold air.

Then the crowd dispersed, few elves gave some disturbing gaze to me. I could feel that they were not friendly towards me because of the acts of other players but there was also nothing I could do as all of them were right.

The father of that little girl rose his hand and waved to me while walking towards me. His right hand was behind his back while he waved to me using his left hand.

He came to me and with a big smile asked, "How was my wife's cooking? "

I replied with a smile, "Pretty delicious. "

Those were the words I would always tell my mom.

He closed his eyes, started rubbing his back of the head with his left hand and replied with a really big smile, "I know, right? "

I nodded.

He questioned me with serious expressions the next second. It startled me for a second as his expressions changed really quick.

"So what are you gonna do now? "

I replied with startled expressions, "I don't really know. "

He caught my expressions and apologized instantly.

"Uh, I am sorry if I startled you with my sudden question. "

I shook my head and said, "It's alright. "

He asked me, "How about you stay here for a while longer and learn our Cultivation Magic? Though It's on you whether you wants to or not as there are three other Elf Cultivation Magic to learn. "

I didn't reply. I thought for few seconds.

Of course I had to because If I choose this Elf race's Cultivation Magic then I'll lose the chance to learn of others.

Control over Wind and Earth but did I really need them?

The answer was simple to me, no. If I want to survive I needed something which could keep me alive.

And only this race of Elves had it.

I pushed my luck and asked, "Would you mind teaching me the hidden Cultivation Magic of your race? The Elf Healing Techniques? "

The Elf Healing Techniques is the hidden Cultivation Magic of this elf race. Other elf races have their own.

Healing magic was something I needed. With my vulnerable body I was of course going to need a healing body as after every battle I was going to receive lot of wounds.

Some are also going to be life threatening.

The man infront of me was in some uneasiness. It was like he wanted to teach it to me but something was bounding him.

He didn't say any word for few seconds and then after thinking a lot replied, "I will need to discuss about this to the elders of our village. "

Of course, I expected this answer. Even in the original when the Elf Realm Prodigy tried to learn this hidden Cultivation Magic, the elders came in between and didn't let him.

There was no way that they were going to let me—a weak player learn it.

But I was not going to lose anything in trying and so I replied, "Sure, I will be waiting for the answer. "

He gave a heavy sigh and said with some complicated expressions, "You see, I can't guarantee that the elders will approve this but don't worry I'll put good words for you and do my best in convincing them. "

I gave a warm and a big smile and said, "I will be really grateful to you. "

After that he walked away from there and probably went to meet the elders.

Even in the real world you won't get something valuable unless you are some VIP or have connections.

And here I was a beginner without even a single in game friend trying to have my hands on a hidden technique, how stupid can someone be?
