Chapter 266 - Ch 266: The World is Changing

‎The Concord had now begun receiving students from government universities and schools.

Private universities had also moved inside the Concord. They closed their real-world campuses, keeping only a single emergency office open.

All students would now study in the game world.

No students below age 12 were allowed to play matches. They could log in and enter the Concord only for studies—no playing.

Previously, only teenagers aged 12+ (mentally 12+) could play. But after schools shifted to the game, Sphera loosened the restrictions slightly for education.

Restaurants had opened. Cooks started their jobs and learned new recipes and cooking techniques from puppets.

New markets appeared. But shops didn't sell physical items. They displayed products as holograms.

If a customer liked something, they paid at the store. The item was then delivered to their real-world house.

Big factories sold directly now—no middlemen.

It was like online shopping, but with a far better, immersive experience.

In the game world, people only needed food to survive. They didn't buy unnecessary things like fans, appliances, or furniture.

There was no need. Even furniture could be bought from the store if players wanted—expensive or cheap, players could simply skip it. Food mattered; luxuries didn't.

Mordan had never pushed for such sales. He knew it would be wasteful.

Private organizations now focused intensely on research and development.

The India Government had already launched its own research programs. If they didn't, they'd fall behind and be crushed.

Mordan was working hard to absorb all private organizations and make the government the sole regulator of India.

If he failed, future wars or chaos would be disastrous—private groups could betray or support enemies from behind.

He had seen it himself during past conflicts with Freedom Union or Xing Nation—private organizations often stayed neutral or helped the other side secretly.

Even inside his own government, traitors still lurked. He was determined to root them out. But he needed solid evidence.

For now, he moved carefully.

That was the latest update on India Concord in the game world.

In the real world, excitement was spreading rapidly—especially among children.

They were thrilled because they could now study from home.

More importantly, their parents told them the education system was completely changing.

No more stressful exams or rote learning.

They would learn real, practical things. (Just like the Central Academy on the hidden island)

Even teachers had to take new tests and qualifications before they could teach again.

But this change applied only to government-owned schools and universities.

Private institutions received no such news.

They continued exactly as before.

Seeing the government offer so many benefits—free access, home study, real-world skills, breathing technique access for the students in the future—civilians began sending their children to government schools and universities in huge numbers.

Private schools and universities soon felt the loss of students.

They tried to resist by offering discounts, better facilities, and aggressive marketing… but it wasn't enough.

The government's advantages were too strong.

Civilians naturally chose the free, superior option.

Some years later, many private institutions might even shut down completely.

The shift had begun.

And it was unstoppable.

Adults were also excited because they could now work comfortably in the game world.

No summer heat. No winter cold.

They could even visit beaches or parks after work to relax and enjoy.

If they felt tired, they could simply play a match. The baptism at the end would refresh their minds instantly.

Of course, shifting everything to the game world had a dark side too—but Mordan made sure it wouldn't become a problem.

Meanwhile, in the official residence, Mordan received the promised AI from IC-AI.

Along with it came a storage ring containing thousands of functional robots.

These robots would maintain the real world—electricity supply, water supply, food distribution, everything.

Each batch (like water supply robots) was controlled by a special AI fragment of IC-AI, which itself was part of Sphera.

Of course, the current number of robots wasn't enough yet.

Mordan would receive more later. He knew producing so many in just a few days was already incredible. So he didn't press.

Even with this many, installing them would take time anyway—so it wasn't a big issue.

In reality, creating these puppets wasn't difficult. Sphera simply used the embodied technology and mass-produced them repeatedly.

She had also delivered the finished embodied technology to Sanya.

Now Sphera had multiple units of it. She could create anything in the game world and then convert it to reality using the technology.
