Chapter 176 - Ch 176: New Higher elements

‎At the Dark Haven Fortress, in the deepest cultivation chamber.

Ankit slowly opened his eyes, releasing a tired sigh that echoed softly against the sealed walls.

"Why can't I still grasp the time element? Even with all the clones and myself pouring every effort into it… we can't even touch its edge. But it's fine for now. I have a long lifespan. No pressure."

He leaned back against the smooth obsidian wall, letting his mind drift over the progress he had made—progress that had come from months of quiet, patient observation right here in this chamber, without ever needing to leave Earth.

"And this isn't without benefit. I have grasped many others—Void, Dimension, Decay, Regeneration, Soul, Mind, Memory, Order, Chaos, Law, Entropy. Not only grasped them, but integrated them into the Crown Core. Their comprehension is currently at the low level… but it's a beginning."

He closed his eyes again, letting the essence of each element flow through his awareness like gentle streams he had carefully channeled from the world around him.

Void

Void is the great silence before anything exists—the empty space that allows everything else to appear.

Ankit grasped it by sitting motionless in the deepest, most isolated corner of his chamber, deliberately emptying his perception until even the sense of "I am here" disappeared. When awareness returned, he understood: Void is not nothing; it is the condition that makes "something" possible.

At low comprehension, he can create small zones of true absence that swallow matter, light, even sound and intent.

Dimension

Dimension is the number of directions reality can stretch in.

He understood it by repeatedly folding tiny pockets of space inside his own palm—making rooms inside rooms, directions inside directions—until he could feel the difference between normal 3D space and something… sideways.

Low comprehension lets him create small pocket dimensions and bend space around himself for short bursts of unnatural movement.

Decay

Decay is the gentle (or cruel) way everything eventually breaks down.

Ankit grasped it by watching a single flower wilt in his chamber over weeks, refusing to look away from the slow, beautiful collapse. He let a tiny part of his own essence decay willingly, feeling the freedom in letting go.

Low level allows him to age objects, weaken structures, or accelerate breakdown in small areas.

Regeneration

Regeneration is the refusal to stay broken—the stubborn insistence that things can return to how they were.

He understood it by deliberately wounding his palm again and again, then forcing the flesh to remember its original shape.

Low comprehension allows rapid healing of cuts, broken bones, and even lost limbs over time.

Soul

Soul is the anchor of identity—the unchanging witness behind all change.

Ankit grasped it, when he realized that even if every layer of body, mind, and memory were stripped away, something would still remain watching. He touched it by sitting in perfect stillness until thought itself ceased, yet awareness did not.

Its laws concern continuity of self and resistance to dissolution; its function is soul attack, soul defense, soul binding, and soul projection.

Low level allows basic soul sense and minor soul pressure; higher levels will let him exist as pure soul even without a body.

Mind

Mind is the processor of reality—the lens through which the universe is interpreted.

Ankit understood it by simultaneously holding contradictory thoughts without conflict, then deliberately shattering and reassembling his own cognition. He grasped it the moment he could think in multiple parallel streams without losing unity.

Its laws are pattern recognition, abstraction, and conceptual manipulation; its function is illusion creation, mind reading, thought acceleration, and mental fortress building.

Memory

Memory is the ledger of experience—the only thing that gives time meaning.

Ankit grasped it by diving into every memory simultaneously, reliving his entire life in one breathless instant, then selectively erasing and restoring fragments until he could edit memory like text.

Its laws concern continuity of identity across time and selective preservation; its function is perfect recall, memory sharing, memory alteration, and even memory deletion in others.

Order

Order is the desire for everything to fit together perfectly—patterns, symmetry, rules.

He grasped it by arranging millions of essence threads into flawless geometric formations, refusing to allow even one strand to be out of place.

Its laws are symmetry, repetition, and harmony; its function is formation creation, array stabilization, and suppression of randomness.

Chaos

Chaos is freedom, unpredictability, the wild energy before rules exist.

Ankit understood it by deliberately letting his essence become completely disordered, then learning to ride the storm without being torn apart.

Low level allows him to disrupt formations, randomize attacks, and break patterns.
