Chapter 61 - Nine Mortal Laws

‎When their doubts quieted, he clapped once. "Alright. Enough theory. Let's begin. First is the Law of Iron Bones. For now, that means simple weight training.

‎Father, you will lift ten kilograms. Mother, you will also lift ten kilograms. Sanya, you will start with five kilograms. Every new day, the weight will increase—ten kilograms more for you two, and five kilograms more for Sanya."

‎All three of them nodded without complaint. After hearing the full explanation, they knew this was only the first step.

‎Today's weight might be light, but in fifty days Kamal and Neelam would be lifting more than five hundred kilograms, and Sanya's load would be close to three hundred. They no longer dared to underestimate even a single kilogram.

‎Solar Clone had already made preparations. He waved his hand, and three sets of dumbbells appeared on the stone floor. One set floated into Kamal's hands, another into Neelam's, and a smaller pair settled in front of Sanya.

‎"Start," he said.

‎They bent their knees, braced their cores, and lifted. The first day's load rose smoothly; their bodies were still fresh, their muscles untested, and after a few repetitions they could already move on to the next exercises, breathing only a little harder.

‎But Solar Clone knew this was only the gentle beginning. The first day of the Law of Iron Bones was forgiving compared to what would come next; as the days passed, the weights would climb higher and higher, grinding muscles, bones, and willpower without pause.

‎For someone who wanted to progress slowly, it would have been safer to add only a little weight every few days. Solar Clone, however, had chosen a harsher road for his family—a steady increase every single day—so that in just a few months their bodies would step into a realm ordinary mortals could never touch.

‎Reaching the "genius" stage in six months was already shocking, but even that was only a target on paper. Solar Clone still didn't know what his family's true potential would be; maybe they were average, maybe hidden geniuses, or even peerless, limit‑breaking talents. For now, he had no way to measure it—and no intention of wasting time guessing.

‎He pushed the thought aside and moved to the next part of the training. "We'll start with the active laws first," he said. "The habits and passive laws will grow naturally once your bodies and minds are pushed to their limits."

‎He raised his hand, counting off each point. "The active laws we'll train directly every day are: Iron Bones, Burning Blood, Heat and Cold, Wound and Healing, and Observing Eyes. The passive laws—Silent Tongue, Empty Stomach, Still Mind, and Heart Vow—will be woven into your daily life."

‎He gestured toward the track that circled the cultivation ground. "You've started the Law of Iron Bones with weights. After this comes the Law of Burning Blood—running, sprinting, and body‑weight drills until your hearts, lungs, and muscles burn. Then the Law of Heat andCold: I'll change the temperature around you, from scorching heat to piercing cold, and you'll endure and move through both. The Lawof Woundand Healing will be trained through controlled impact and simple combat drills, then you will rest after each session and naturally heal. Finally, the Law of ObservingEyes: even when you're tired, you'll have to notice every small change in your surroundings and react in time."

‎Kamal, Neelam, and Sanya swallowed together, but none of them backed away.

‎"Now for the passive laws," Solar Clone continued, his tone softening. "These aren't about one big, dramatic session. They're about how you live every single day."

‎"Law of Silent Tongue," he said first. "Every day there will be fixed periods when no one is allowed to speak—no complaints, no excuses. During that time, you'll work, train, or rest in complete silence. This will teach you to endure discomfort quietly and to think before you open your mouth."

‎"Law of Empty Stomach. From today, you will almost never eat until you feel completely full. You'll stop just before that point. You'll learn to function, think, and train while a little hungry. Hunger will become something you can ignore, not something that controls you."

‎"Law of Still Mind," he went on. "Every morning after waking and every night before sleep, you'll sit quietly with your eyes closed for a set time. No talking, no fidgeting—just breathing and watching your thoughts pass. This will slowly turn panic into focus and make your mind steady even under pressure."

‎Finally, he looked at them more gently than before. "And the Law of Heart Vow. Today, each of you will make a vow in your heart—your own reason for wanting strength. You don't have to say it out loud, but you must remember it. Every morning and every night, you'll recall that vow for a few breaths. When training hurts, when you want to give up, that vow will be what pulls you back onto the path."

‎Solar Clone let the silence stretch for a moment, letting the weight of his words sink in. "These are the Nine Mortal Laws," he said at last. "The active ones will tear at your body. The passive ones will grind at your habits. If you can endure all of them together, six months from now you won't be the same people standing here today."
