... When Angron opened his eyes, the soft bed made him extremely uncomfortable; having been used to sleeping on the ground, sleeping on something so soft suddenly made Angron feel uneasy.

"nail! How long have I been asleep?" Angron asked.

He walked over to the washstand in the room, waiting for the nail's reply.

The familiar voice did not sound, and a trace of unease appeared in Angron's heart.

"Hey! nail?"

Angron looked at the gray-silver Butcher's Nails in the mirror. He felt that the color of the Butcher's Nails was a bit strange, almost like it was glowing green!

"Butcher's Nails?"

Angron frowned. Usually, by this time, the Butcher's Nails would have told him about the projects he needed to handle today, the documents that had been reviewed, and even the weather... But now, the Butcher's Nails was not only silent but wasn't even providing any emotional feedback.

"Hey! nail!!!" Angron roared.

"Bang!" The door was slammed open, and Angron saw his scions rush in from outside. Gell, leading Kharn and others, aimed their Bolters at Angron.

"my father! What happened..."

"Gell... llll!" Angron looked at Gell, who was protective of his father. Just as his lips moved and he managed to utter his name, the familiar electrical current pierced his brain nerves. Angron immediately convulsed as if having an epileptic seizure, one hand drawing a circle and one foot drawing a square, stumbling and falling onto the dim yellow carpet.

[Why are you yelling! I'm upgrading!] [MD! I'm not dead!] The furious voice of the Butcher's Nails sounded.

"my father!!!" Gell and the others saw Angron fall to the ground and rushed over to help him up.

"Hahahahaha!" To everyone's confusion, Angron burst out laughing.

'That... did you find a doctor on Terra?' 'I did... I just don't know if he can cure it!'

PS: Feeling much better today, thank you everyone... Also, please vote!

volume one: Chapter 24 Chapter 23 Konrad Curze's Night Raid

This was the third month since Angron's return to Terra. During this time, Angron's brothers had successively left to continue the great work of the Emperor of Mankind, but a few brothers still remained.

Ferrus Manus and Vulkan.

Vulkan was not a fan of excitement. He had dark skin but eyes like fire. His encounter with Angron was accidental; when Angron, surrounded by his scions, came to the manufactorum beneath the Terra Imperial Palace, he saw Vulkan the smith while talking to Ferrus Manus.

With just one glance, Angron knew that this man, bare-chested and forging steel, was his brother.

Through Ferrus Manus's introduction, Angron recalled that when he first returned, Vulkan had been standing behind the Emperor of Mankind, looking like a Custodian, only much larger in stature. Afterward, at Ferrus Manus's suggestion, the two of them were to forge weapons and armor for Angron, respectively.

But before that, Angron still needed to wait.

Waiting for the arrival of his new weapon.

It was still night. Angron walked alone on the Terra Imperial Palace walls, accompanied by his scions Gell and Kharn.

As for the others, Angron did not know what they were doing.

Everyone had their own secrets, and Angron did not like to pry.

"Gell, this is the world you live in," Angron asked.

"Yes, my father. We are not like other Legions that originate from a specific region."

Gell said, looking at Angron, who was wearing a cloak. He breathed a sigh of relief in his heart that his father was not having an episode.

Although it was impolite, Gell was genuinely afraid that Angron would suddenly collapse, convulse, or roll his eyes.

He looked at the Butcher's Nails glowing green on Angron's head. The light pulsed rhythmically, like breathing. Gell knew that the nail in Angron's head might be the cause of his condition, but even if the War Hounds invited the best Tech-Priest on all of Terra, Angron would wave them away.

"This place is no different from Nuceria."

Angron looked at the Hive City in the distance, where thick black smoke billowed. The entirety of Terra was a gigantic Hive City, from South America to North America, from Europe to the Far East, filled with dense buildings and the toiling people living beneath the Hive City.
