Rowan finished bathing, his skin flushed pink from scrubbing. He changed into a fresh set of animal skins, then washed the muddy set he had just taken off.
Owen, hearing the splashing stop, turned around and approached, his gaze fixed on the water droplets still clinging to Rowan's hair. "I want to bathe too."
"Then go ahead and bathe." Rowan placed the wet animal skins on a nearby rock and stood up, intending to step aside just as Owen had done.
"Don't go far, just stay right next to me. You don't need to turn away either." Owen reached out and undressed, his movements quick and decisive; the animal skin on his body immediately fell to the ground.
Before Rowan could avert his gaze, he saw Owen's solid muscles under the dim moonlight. Eight distinct abdominal muscles were clearly visible, incredibly firm; every fiber contained explosive power and the characteristic allure of a beastman.
