Yao Yu'en suddenly woke up—with a piercing scream.
"AH! PERVERT!"
"I knew it! You little brat can't be trusted!" Zhengyi's mother shouted.
"I didn't do anything!"
"W–Where am I…?"
"Don't be scared, girl. Aunty will protect you!"
BANG!
Jiang Zhengyi was kicked out of the room.
"Then where am I supposed to sleep?!"
"The living room!"
—
Night fell. His mother brought out dinner.
"Eat. Next month is the big exam."
"Hehe…"
"And bring some food to that girl after you're done."
Zhengyi walked back into the room.
Yao Yu'en had already fallen asleep.
"…Forget it."
He quietly placed the food down.
Suddenly—
A blinding beam of light burst through the roof.
"Nani?!"
"Monster!" Gu Xing shouted. "Transform! Quickly!"
"Transform!"
Driver Voice:
BAI–X! (Xing-Rider!)
BAI-X clashed with the monster, but the creature suddenly charged toward his mother.
"STOP!"
Zhengyi was bound by dark chains mid-air.
Just then—
A golden flash cut through the darkness.
Driver Voice:
D–X! GOLD FORM!
(Kongshi – Golden Tiger Form!)
Kongshi blocked the attack.
"Aunty! Get to safety!"
Gu Xing yelled,
"Zhengyi! Use the monster's key!"
"Was planning to!"
Zhengyi slammed in the crimson key.
Driver Voice:
BAI–X! FIRE EAGLE!
(Fire Eagle Form!)
"Let me end this!"
Flames burst skyward—
The two Riders attacked together.
"Ready—GO!"
Their combined flying kick detonated the monster.
BOOM!
Smoke cleared—
And a thin beam of light shot across the room—
straight into his mother's chest.
"MA—!!!"
The Strange Man appeared, smiling coldly as her body dissolved into a glowing seal-key.
"I truly love watching Riders lose the ones they care about."
Yao Yu'en, furious, tried to transform—
but black chains wrapped around her mid-air and smashed her into the wall.
She collapsed, unconscious and bleeding.
Zhengyi fell to his knees, trembling.
Then—
His scream tore through the night.
"YOU—!!!"
