The sky was gray, the air still heavy with the aftermath of the battle. Peh Chin Yoh looked up, eyes fixed on the gleaming pillar of light on the horizon, unease stirring in his heart:
"Is it… over?"
Zheng Shiguang stood silently beside him, shaking his head slightly:
"No… your story isn't finished yet…"
Before the words had fully fallen, a blinding beam of light cut through the clouds like a sword, striking toward the earth.
Chin Yoh's pupils narrowed: "What… is that?"
Ma Zhengjin's face went pale: "Could it be… No! Hurry!"
The four of them ran instinctively toward the source of the light.
Zheng Shiguang shouted loudly:
"Alright! The next chapter of the story—write it yourselves! Rider—watch over it!"
With that, he leapt gracefully onto a motorbike that had descended from the sky.
"Start 2026!"
The bike roared to life, its screen flashing numbers: TIMER2026 (Travel 2026!)
In an instant, the bike transformed into a streak of light, plunging into the space-time tunnel and disappearing from view.
Chin Yoh looked back, shouting:
"Zhengjin! Yuen!"
The three shared a glance, eyes burning with battle intent.
"Transform!" Chin Yoh shouted.
"Transform!" Yao Yuen called out simultaneously.
"Transform!" Ma Zhengjin followed immediately.
The drivers blazed with light, and the three became:
Peh Chin Yoh → Rider · Ascended Form
Yao Yuen → D-X · Gold Tiger Form
Ma Zhengjin → Police Rider
They surged toward the research lab housing the Ancient Monument, monsters immediately alert, charging to intercept them.
Ma Zhengjin barked sharply:
"Chin Yoh, Yuen! You go seal the monument—I'll hold them off!"
Chin Yoh and Yuen nodded: "Understood!"
The two raced toward the source of the light, but a horde of monsters blocked their path.
Yuen's eyes blazed:
"Chin Yoh! You go! I'll handle them!"
Without hesitation, Chin Yoh shot through the monster swarm, reaching the center of the lab.
A tall figure stood silently beside the Ancient Monument, ominous and imposing.
"Who are you?!" Chin Yoh demanded.
Gu Huang laughed coldly, his voice echoing throughout the lab:
"Who am I? Hahaha! I am Gu Huang!"
Chin Yoh's pupils constricted:
"What do you want?! Seal the monument, or the world will be destroyed!"
Gu Huang spread his arms, smirking darkly:
"What I want… is destruction! A thousand years ago, Rider Gu Xing defeated and sealed me. Now, I will reshape the world!"
"Go to hell! DAMN IT!" Chin Yoh roared, switching instantly to Demon Form, charging forward to clash head-on with Gu Huang.
Gu Huang's laugh was cold:
"Give up. You and I are from the same world! You and D-X… are merely Riders born from the Ancient Monument!"
Yuen shouted angrily:
"Nonsense!"
Chin Yoh's eyes flickered with concern:
"Yuen! What about Ma Zhengjin?"
"He's still fighting the monsters downstairs."
Chin Yoh gritted his teeth:
"Yuen, I'll hold him off—you destroy the monument!"
"OK!"
Together, they charged at Gu Huang, sword light and will converging into a blazing torrent.
Gu Huang sneered:
"The ending is already decided! You cannot change it!"
He suddenly unleashed a wave of light. Rider and D-X were blown back, crashing heavily to the ground.
Chin Yoh clutched his chest, growling:
"Damn…"
Moments later, he slowly rose, eyes resolute.
"D-X! Quick!" He reached out, and Yuen lifted the Ancient Monument.
Together, they turned the Ancient Key in their drivers. Light surged, intertwining between the monument and the Riders.
The driver's sound effect echoed powerfully:
"REDDY! GO!" (Ready! Go!)
A blinding beam shot skyward. Gu Huang and the Ancient Monument shattered simultaneously, scattering into starlight that slowly dissolved into the air.
Calm returned to the surroundings. The remaining glow reflected on the earth, as if proclaiming to humanity—peace had finally arrived.
Chin Yoh helped Yuen to her feet. They exchanged a brief but warm smile.
Yet, the story was far from over—
Above the horizon, a driver suddenly flashed, emitting its familiar, solemn sound:
"START UP!" (Constellation Descends!)
A new chapter quietly began to unfold…
