With my arrival, the entire village was in an uproar.
More villagers poured out, greeting me, creating an extremely lively scene.
Daniel Thompson had to shout loudly, "Alright! Alright! Everyone, don't come up here. We invited Charlie back today to take care of some serious business."
Gradually, the crowd quieted down.
"Charlie, you've heard about everything from Wayne, right?" Daniel Thompson said to me.
I nodded, "Uncle has told me everything."
Daniel Thompson sighed, furrowing his brow, and said, "Charlie, you've got to think of a way! If this continues, the village will be destroyed. That group of bastards wants to take half the village."
"If we don't sign the contract, they come causing trouble. How are we supposed to live like this?"
"Look at this, all good deeds done by that group of bullies!"
