Chapter 93 - Chapter 93: Setting Sail

On the morning after completing the secret transaction with the World Government, Kaidou eagerly prepared to set sail once more. As the morning sun had just risen, the elite forces of the Beasts Pirates were already lined up in orderly ranks at the Oni Island docks.

In the morning light, eleven key executives stood in a row: Bullet's towering figure was particularly striking, Urouge carried a massive pencil on his shoulder, Sebastian held meteor hammers in both hands, Commodore Gavin was polishing his long sword, Nul Morris and Cedric conversed in low voices, Nickson adjusted his tie, while the three newly promoted executives of the pirate crew—Kawamatsu, Inuarashi, and Nekomamushi—watched ahead with serious expressions, and Enel idly played with his golden staff.

Behind them, over a thousand fully armed pirates stood in neat formation, their metal weapons glinting coldly in the sunlight. This was the entire force Kaidou had publicly announced for this expedition. In reality, to avoid arousing external suspicion, he had deliberately left three capable commanders—Moria and Queen—to guard Wano Country. Over the past few months, these three had established considerable renown in Wano, enough to intimidate petty troublemakers without completely crushing the hopes of the resistance—exactly the effect Kaidou wanted.

"Wororororo!" Kaidou's hearty laughter echoed across the bay. "Men, it's time to show the New World our power! Set sail!"

"As you command!" the thousand pirates responded in unison, their voices creating ripples on the sea surface.

After months of management, the Beasts Pirates had rapidly expanded to fifteen hundred members. This was still the result of Kaidou's insistence on an elite troop policy; otherwise, the numbers could have doubled without issue. For this expedition, he took twelve hundred of the main force, specifically preparing three large three-masted sailing ships for the purpose. These warships were newly built, each equipped with the most advanced artillery systems.

As the sea breeze picked up and the sails billowed, Kaidou stood at the bow of the flagship, watching Wano Country's coastline gradually recede into the distance, a meaningful smile playing on his lips.

Soon, the pirate ships sailed out of Wano Country's waters.

"Bullet, Urouge, we'll part ways here. Wait for King's notification at this location. I'm entrusting Wano Country to you," Kaidou said to Bullet and Urouge beside him.

"Don't worry, Brother Kaidou. As long as I'm in Wano Country, no one will be able to threaten the Beasts Pirates," Bullet responded to Kaidou.

"Leave it to me, Captain," Urouge also said to Kaidou.

"Bullet, Urouge, make sure to practice the Navy Six Styles and Life Return training manuals we obtained from the World Government in exchange. Especially Life Return—it will be of great benefit to your future development," Kaidou instructed the two and the other executives behind them.

"Yes!" the group nodded in acknowledgment upon hearing this.

Most of those who came out this time would return with Bullet and the others, while only the executives like Sebastian, Enel, Kawamatsu, Inuarashi, and Nekomamushi, along with thirty fish-men and fifty pirates, set sail with Kaidou. Soon, the three pirate ships split up. Kaidou's pirate ship headed straight into the distance, while Bullet and Urouge each took a pirate ship toward a nearby small island. They would wait there for a call, ready to return to Wano Country at any time.

The sea breeze gently brushed past as the flagship of the Beasts Pirates carved an elegant arc across the azure sea. Amid the crackling sound of electricity, Enel transformed into a bolt of lightning and instantly appeared beside Kaidou. Before the lightning had fully dissipated, his youthful voice rang out: "Captain, where is our first destination?"

On the deck, Inuarashi twitched his furry ears and curiously approached: "Yes, Captain, where are we heading first? Is it the legendary Sky Island?" His round eyes sparkled with anticipation.

"Idiot!" Nekomamushi immediately retorted at Inuarashi and said: "Sky Island is in the first half of the Grand Line, far from here! Captain, are we going to Fish-Man Island? I remember you returned to the first half of the Grand Line through Fish-Man Island before."

Hearing about returning to Fish-Man Island, Sebastian and the several dozen fish-men on the ship all cast hopeful glances. Clearly, they also wanted to visit Fish-Man Island again, as it had been over a year since they left. If there was a chance to return, they would gladly take it.

"Wororororo!" Kaidou's hearty laughter echoed across the sea as he raised his gourd and took a large gulp. "Neither! Our first stop is Dressrosa!"

"Dressrosa?" Inuarashi scratched his head, his fluffy tail unconsciously wagging. "What's so special about that country?"

A glint flashed in Kaidou's eyes as he said in a deep voice: "We're not going to Dressrosa itself, but to the small island Green Bit beside it. There might be Devil Fruits we need hidden there, and..." He deliberately drew out his tone, "...legendary Tontatta Tribe live there."

Kaidou's purpose for this voyage was equally clear: to find ways to increase the Beasts Pirates' foundation. The fastest method to boost strength was through Devil Fruits. Thinking of Devil Fruits, Kaidou naturally recalled various ones that could change the course of a war, such as the Cheer-Cheer Fruit, Sing-Sing Fruit, and others.

Of course, Kaidou had no idea where these Devil Fruits were located. However, in his memory, the Tontatta Tribe princess from Green Bit would become a user of the Heal-Heal Fruit in the future. The abilities of the Heal-Heal Fruit were undoubtedly an excellent support-type fruit.

Additionally, in the original story, the Tontatta Tribe possessed several Zoan-Type Devil Fruits, so Kaidou planned to try his luck there.

Even if they gained nothing, the Tontatta Tribe themselves held considerable value. After all, the Tontatta Tribe were known as the Green Managers, capable of cultivating various plants. Kaidou intended to continue research on Artificial Devil Fruits in the future, so if necessary, he would take a group of Tontatta Tribe members from Green Bit.

"Tontatta Tribe? Are they the race with very small bodies?" Nekomamushi said.

"Fool, of course. They're called the Tontatta Tribe for a reason. They shouldn't be this tall yet," Inuarashi said, gesturing with his hand at his waist.

"I remember hearing about the Tontatta Tribe back on Fish-Man Island. They're said to be very small, not even as big as our palms. But despite their tiny size, they possess incredible strength and move at astonishing speeds," Sebastian recalled.

"Not even as big as our palms? They're that small?" Those who hadn't heard of the Tontatta Tribe exclaimed in surprise.

At the same time, they felt growing anticipation for the journey ahead.
