They reached the outpost only four hours later. With each minute Kenshin found it harder and harder to walk—general body exhaustion made itself felt, but thanks to his enhanced mind he remained conscious and, with his sons' support, with difficulty but moved.
After a quick check at the checkpoint, Kenshin went to a small hospital building where he was met by the duty medical ninja.
"Hm? Injured arms? Good, go to room eleven and wait for me there. And you disperse, visit your friend in the morning." ordered a young man about eighteen who apparently was doing practice here.
Kenshin mentally ordered his sons to go to the hotel and rest well, and himself went further down the corridor looking for room eleven.
After reaching the end of the corridor, he almost collided with a stately woman in a white coat. Fortunately for him, she was at least Chunin rank and in a fraction of a second changed her body position, avoiding collision.
"Sorry." Kenshin muttered and trudged further. After a few steps he suddenly turned around and asked: "Could you tell me where room eleven is?"
"At the end of this corridor, second to last door on the right." the woman answered automatically, still not taking her gaze from this strange guy. The first one she met who didn't stare at her absolutely white eyes characteristic of Hyuga clan members.
Coming to her senses, she turned and headed to the exit where a young medical ninja assistant sat at the registration desk. Seeing her, he almost jumped up and immediately stood, politely saying: "Oh, Hitomi-sama, I thought you had already finished."
"That's why you're still a medical ninja assistant for the second year. If you gave your all to work—you would have passed the exam long ago." Hyuga Hitomi authoritatively scolded him.
"Thank you for the guidance, Hitomi-sama, I'll work harder!" he declared and bowed.
Being the main medical ninja of the entire outpost, Hyuga Hitomi only snorted at this fool's flattering words and changed the topic: "Who is this guy you sent to eleven?"
"Hm? He came recently and said he suspects fractures in both arms."
"You didn't even examine the patient?" Hitomi asked irritably.
"I planned to do it in a minute!" the young man lied. In fact he planned to drink tea and read a very fascinating but shameful book.
"I'll handle him myself. Fractures in both arms isn't something to trust to a medical ninja assistant." Hitomi said authoritatively and, turning, headed to room eleven.
"Pfft, pompous old hen! Kicked out of the clan to a real hole but acts like she's the clan head's wife!" the young man mentally cursed her, outwardly smiling at her back.

After what happened, Kenshin was exhausted morally and physically. He didn't even look at the face of the woman he met in the corridor and didn't see her amazing eyes. All he wanted at that moment was to get a primary examination of his arms and then fall into deep sleep.
Suddenly the door to the room opened, and the same middle-aged woman entered, and only now Kenshin could see her incredible, absolutely white eyes. But even so he was exhausted and couldn't show any emotions.
The woman silently approached the couch where Kenshin lay and, turning on the light in the room, authoritatively declared: "Undress."
"Can't. Arms don't obey." he answered and tried to raise them.
The woman with full knowledge of her craft approached him and without much trouble removed the upper part of his exo-suit and then the T-shirt. Kenshin only stoically endured when she carefully but confidently pulled out first one arm and then the other from the clothes.
"Hm, where did you manage to get multiple fractures in both arms…" she muttered, determining the nature of the injuries at first glance.
"Ran into a storm wolf, and it threw me against a tree." Kenshin answered without much emotion, knowing full well the truth couldn't be told.
"Storm wolf? Doesn't look like their behavior. They always try to bite, not push." she noted skeptically, not believing a single word.
Kenshin simply remained silent, not wanting to continue the conversation, and Hyuga Hitomi didn't want to press. For some reason she liked this young man, and even not set on communication and trust, his company was much more pleasant for her than that of the overwhelming majority of patients.
"Good, don't move, and if it hurts a bit—endure." she commanded and took his left arm.
Suddenly her right hand glowed, and she applied it to Kenshin's left arm.
At that moment Kenshin first felt burning, then warmth. This woman was remarkably skilled and careful, and he almost fell asleep.
"Hm, your left arm is broken in four places, and a piece of bone the size of a fingernail chipped off. Needs surgery." she said and, reaching for a drawer, took out a small scalpel. In one instant she passed her chakra through it and destroyed all microorganisms to avoid infection.
"Wait, before you cut me open, can I know your name?" Kenshin asked, regaining some vigor.
"Well, my name is Hyuga Hitomi, and yours?" she said with a smile. With each minute spent in this young man's company, her mood that had fallen over the whole day gradually returned.
"Very nice to meet you, Hitomi-san, my name is Nakayama Kenshin." he showed courtesy. If at the very beginning he didn't even notice her outstanding eyes, now he saw some possibility in this random acquaintance. He had no thought of hitting on such an incredible woman, but it would be stupid not to try to establish relations with an excellent medical ninja.
"Nice to meet you too. Good, Kenshin, we'll talk later. For now relax, and if it hurts—endure." she said and applied both hands to his left arm.
