"Why me,why was it me"
…
Finally after 4 years I can finally read that last part, while on the trip of 3 days to get to the city i asked my mom why it takes so long to arrive there from Blue Shore Bazaar.
She answered "It's a long way there because it's a long way there" I laughed because I thought that was a joke but I glanced at her and she was dead serious.
After that unusual conversation I just slept the whole way there because there was nothing to do.When we arrived there, there was an unusual amount of guards.
I counted and there were about 10 guards at the gate. I asked my mother and she had no idea. They stopped us and asked what we were doing in the city, shortly after they checked the wagon and then let us through.
After some time we made it to the library and I ran past the magic section to the monster section, but I couldn't find the book. I looked everywhere but it was gone.
I went up to the Librarian that was an elf and asked her about it,she said "oh that book, yeah someone took all of them".I was pretty mad, i asked if they had any others available but she said no.
After that disappointment I tried going to the adventure section and actually got a book I could read, it was basically a step by step guide. Then i decided to sneak in the magic section, I looked around for security and tried to slip in. I was caught by a guy that refused to let it slide and he later called the same librarian that took me to my mother.
But before I was grabbed I was able to somehow slip a grimoire into my shirt and leave with it,and therefore I succeeded in getting a Magic Grimoire, I felt quite accomplished.
…
When I arrived at my house my sister insisted on playing Tag, and I said no until I remembered my bargain with her. To my absolute horror we ended up playing for the whole day so I never got my stolen magic Grimoire.
So I stormed off to my room, put a chair under the door knob to lock it (We were too poor to afford actual locks) and to my pure utter horror my mother was in my room holding my Magic Grimoire.
She looked at me as if I was about to be beaten to a pulp, and that's when I felt true fear for the first time. I was grounded for a month, I thought it was an exaggeration but turns out stealing a magic grimoire is a great felony.
And I was eventually banned for 9 years from the library. So I decided to start working out so when I turn 16 years old I can go and become an adventurer and finally read that magic book.
