As Cloud is running while the boar is chasing him, Xiao Fan finally reaches the wall.
He jump, hold on on the wall, then jump again to reach Fang Yue's whip tip.
She has already lay her whip down while ready to pull Xiao Fan up as soon as he reach for the tip.
When Xiao Fan finally caught the tip of the whip, Fang Yue who's laying on the ground of the jutting wall while holding the grip of the whip quickly pull him up.
Pulling Xiao Fan up is very easy for her to do even though Xiao Fan is heavier than her.
She easily pull him up with one hand then Xiao Fan instantly reach the jutting rock.
She is a qi gathering realm cultivator after all.
She can easily lift a car by herself at this stage so lifting Xiao Fan was not a challenge for her at all.
When Xiao Fan finally reaches the jutting rock, Fang Yue stand up and turn her attention toward Cloud.
Cloud is on a very dangerous situation at this point.
He is running from the boar but the boar finally gain enough speed that it's gaining on Cloud.
If this goes on, the boar would catch up and hit Cloud soon.
Seeing this, the two became worry. They quickly try to think of a way to help but nothing comes up.
Since they can't find any strategy that would help, Xiao Fan is going to come back down but he is stopped by Fang Yue.
"Are you crazy? What are you trying to do?" Said Fang Yue with a frown.
"I'm coming back down to help brother Cloud! We tried to think but found nothing that could help. You saw how he risked his life to save me before, I can't just do nothing!" Replied Xiao Fan anxiously.
At the last moment before, he saw that he didn't have enough time when he was running toward the wall.
It was then that he also saw Cloud distracted the boar to save him.
Xiao Fan is very grateful to this. So now that Cloud is in danger still because of him, how can he stand and do nothing.
"I can understand that. But what are you gonna do even if you go down? It would only undo his act of saving you just now." Said Fang Yue back to try to reason with Xiao Fan.
"Then what are we gonna do? We can't just wait and see brother Cloud get killed." Said Xiao Fan.
He has calmed down a little after hearing Fang Yue's words.
Right at that point when the two is still talking, Cloud who were still running suddenly stop.
He turn toward the boar that is still rushing toward him.
Looking at the charging boar that's about to reach him, Cloud hardened his resolve.
He then run into the charging boar with a firm expression.
"Crazy! What is he trying to do?" Commented Fang Yue as she saw the development.
Xiao Fan can only look on with shock also.
Brother Cloud can't be thinking about fighting that beast is he? Is what comes up in Xiao Fan's mind.
As the two keep on staring with tense bodies, Cloud is just a second away from colliding with the boar.
As the boy and the beast were about to collide, Cloud suddenly slide on the ground, passing from underneath the boar.
The ground here isn't exactly flat but it has became quite even from being stepped by the many boars for some time.
Coupled with Cloud's strong physique and cultivation, he can slide through the ground just fine without being injured.
But sliding underneath the boar is still a gamble.
That is why Cloud has to harden his resolve before he do this.
Because if the boar reacts quick enough when Cloud is sliding underneath it, it can easily crush him with its humongous body.
But thankfully, the boar was unprepared. It didn't expect that Cloud would do that at all.
Coupled with its charging speed and Cloud's rushing toward it, it only took Cloud a second to slide past it from underneath.
He only had to avoid the beast's head before he manages to do that.
When the beast realize, Cloud has already passed through it.
As the beast is turning to find Cloud, Cloud is already running.
He was forced to run away from the only escape route before because the boar was in Cloud's way to reach it.
Now that he has successfully passed through the boar, he can run toward the escape route, which is the jutting rock wall that have a path leading to the outside.
