Rook appeared behind him holding a large gift box.
"Alex, you are temporarily relieved from all duties. It is traditional."
Before Alex could argue, he was already dragged through a gateway Ben had prepared with help from Azmuth (who smirked and muttered, "Humans get into strange rituals.").
The Omniverse Bachelor Tour
Ben had one rule:
"We are visiting three places:One for fun.One for chaos.One for memories."
Rook added,"Also there will be absolutely no intergalactic crime. Ben promised."
Ben grumbled, "I promised I'd try."
Planet Undertown — Ultimate Alien Arcade
A neon city built around old alien relics.
Ben challenged Alex to every game.
Rook tried to teach them "proper sportsmanship."
Alex won almost everything.
Ben: "Bro. You have the strength of a UNIVERSE. We're not playing 'who can punch the meteor harder.'"
Alex just smirked.
The Null Void Festival
Ben thought it would be "cool."
Rook thought it would be "dangerous."
Both were right.
Dimensional creatures recognized Alex as "the Shadow Monarch heir."
Someone tried to sell Ben a "tamed baby voidling."
Rook had to lecture five criminals for attempting pickpocketing.
Alex ended up stopping a Null Void beast with one flick.
Ben: "Okay, bachelor party officially upgraded from 'fun' to 'legendary.'"
The Old Rustbucket — Memory Stop
Grandpa Max secretly gave Ben access to the restored Rustbucket I.
A quiet place. Nostalgic. Meaningful.
The three sat on the roof under a sky full of swirling galaxies.
Rook asked, "Alex… are you nervous?"
Alex paused.He had fought Tetramands, trained with cosmic power, conquered universes, and faced system evolutions…
But marriage…?
"A little," he admitted.
Ben patted his back."Dude, you've literally saved worlds. If anyone deserves happiness, it's you."
Rook added gently,"And your brides clearly adore you. You will honor them well."
Alex smiled—soft, grateful, warm.
The Celebratory Toast
Rook opened the box he brought earlier.
Inside:A bottle of rare Petropian crystal-essence drink Azmuth gifted "for responsible consumption only."
They poured three glasses.
Ben lifted his.
"To Alex Tennyson:My cousin, our galaxy's strongest monster-and-hero magnet, and now… future husband of eight terrifyingly powerful women. May your universe survive this."
Alex snorted.
Rook raised his glass too.
"To loyalty, to love, and to your future family."
Alex raised his final glass.
"To the brothers who stood by me before the System, before the power… and before all of this. I won't forget it."
They clinked glasses as the stars above shimmered.
The Surprise Ending
As they returned home…
All eight of Alex's fiancées—Velgrynd, Velzard, Venelana, Grayfia, Albedo, Lucy, Charmcaster, and Looma—were waiting in the mansion entrance.
Velgrynd crossed her arms:
"So… did you boys have fun?"
Ben immediately panicked."IT WAS Rook's idea!"
Rook: "Ben. Cowardice is dishonorable."
Alex just laughed, kissed each bride on the forehead, and whispered:
"Tomorrow, our story truly begins."
