Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 — Announcing the Wedding of the Universe

Avalon Tower was glowing—literally.Shadow runes floated along the walls, reacting to Alex's excitement and the power surging within him. Preparations for a universe-shaking marriage had begun.

Eight women.Eight vows.Eight futures bound to one man.

Velgrynd.Velzard.Venelana Bael.Grayfia Lucifuge.Albedo.Lucy Mann.Charmcaster.Looma Red Wind.

Eight pillars around Alex's heart.

And now it was time to make it official.

Calling the Tennyson Family

Inside the Avalon family lounge, Alex opened a holo-screen.

"Mom, Dad, Joel, Camille—can you join the call?"

Within seconds:

Gordon Tennyson strode into view with a proud grin.

Betty Jean Tennyson rushed forward with excitement in her eyes.

Joel Tennyson appeared with arms crossed—his signature brocon stance.

Camille Mann peeked from behind Joel, already guessing the news.

Alex cleared his throat.

"I'm… getting married."

The reaction was immediate.

Betty: "MARRIED?! TO WHO? WHEN? HOW MANY? YOU BETTER SAY ALL OF THEM!"

Gordon & Joel: burst into laughter"Finally! Our boy grows up!"

Camille: "And Lucy? Are you officially asking permission to date my sister?"

Alex nodded respectfully.

"Lucy Mann and I… love each other. Camille, I want your approval as her elder sister."

Camille smiled softly—surprisingly gentle.

"You have it, Alex. You've protected her, supported her, and she loves you deeply.Just treat her well."

Lucy, listening off-screen, nearly combusted from embarrassment.

Then Betty leaned forward with the deadliest question in the universe:

"So… Alex? When can I expect grandchildren?"

Eight women instantly turned red.

Velgrynd coughed fire sparks.Velzard froze the air.Venelana smirked with interest.Grayfia became stiff and proper.Albedo squealed.Charmcaster choked on her tea.Looma proudly declared, "SOON! I WANT STRONG CHILDREN!"Lucy hid behind a pillow.

Alex wanted to evaporate.

Gordon and Joel kept slapping his back, laughing like they had waited years for this.

Betty only said:

"Just hurry."

Informing the Rest of the Universe

The next morning, Alex began the second wave of announcements.

Max Tennyson & Vera Tennyson

Max smiled like a proud general.

"About time, kid. You deserve happiness."

Vera cried tears of joy.

"You've grown so much since we found you."

Ben & Rook

Ben froze.

"You're… WHAT?! Married?! To eight—?! Bro, you move faster than the Omnitrix!"

Rook simply bowed.

"Congratulations, Alex. This is an honor."

Ben eventually grinned.

"Just save me a seat. And food. Lots of food."

Carl & Sandra Tennyson

Ben's parents were warm and supportive.

"Alex, you've always been family. We're happy for you."

Ma Vreedle

She clapped her giant hands.

"My godson's gettin' hitched! I'll bring gifts! Big ones!"

Avalon Tower shook in fear.

Hybrid Alien Council

They bowed as one.

"For the man who saved our race—your union is our celebration."

Azmuth

The tiny genius simply said:

"I suppose I must attend. Someone has to keep an eye on you."

(Translation: He cared.)

Gar Red Wind & the Tetramands

Gar thumped his chest proudly.

"My daughter chose well. The Red Wind Clan stands with Avalon for eternity."

Looma blushed with pride.

Telling Gwen's Parents

Alex visited Frank and Natalie Tennyson personally.

"I wanted to inform you both. I'm getting married."

They exchanged a sad but sincere smile.

"Alex… we're happy for you," Frank said."You deserve love and loyalty," Natalie added gently.

They gave their blessings.

Gwen Finds Out

Later, Gwen returned home from college.

"Mom, Dad—what's wrong? You're acting strange."

They hesitated before telling her:

"Alex… he's getting married."

The words hung in the air.

Gwen froze.

She wasn't angry.She wasn't jealous.She wasn't heartbroken.

She felt… mixed.

A swirl of emotions:

relief

regret

happiness for him

sadness for the past

gratitude

and a tiny sting in her heart she tried to ignore

She whispered:

"…I see."

Ben later confirmed it to her in person.

"Gwen… he's really doing it. Eight wives."

Gwen forced a smile.

"That's… good. I'm… happy he found people who stayed with him."

Her eyes softened—not with desire, but acceptance.

She was slowly moving forward.

Alex was no longer her story. But she was still part of his past.

And she wished him well.
