She added another egg the same way.
GongErhu: "Is it just me? This looks too satisfying?"
Old Harold: "You are alone! I made a collection of clips where the host is either cracking eggs or chopping vegetables!"
Then she picked up a pair of chopsticks and began to beat the eggs.
At first, the yolks stayed whole, floating in the clear whites. But as she stirred, the yellow slowly spread. Her hand moved in small, quick circles.
The mixture changed little by little, thick streaks of yellow blending into the transparent white.
"You need to beat it evenly," she explained. "Not too rough."
The eggs turned into a smooth, pale yellow liquid, slightly glossy under the light.
She lifted the bowl slightly and let a thin stream fall back down.
"It should flow like this," she said.
Next, she turned to the pot of hot water. Small bubbles had already started to rise.
She lowered the heat.
"The water should not be too strong," she said. "Or the eggs will break too much."
