Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Posionous Spider

Of course, others are to blame, too. Like the malicious spirit occupying her body, like the admin who realized too late, and even Liam... he was the father, so why didn't he pay attention to her babies?

[Host...these servants and the chef pretend to be good in front of Master...]

"Don't you fucking dare call him master." Mu Ning roared in her heart.

Sure, Liam was her longtime crush, but her babies were equally important. They were tortured so much, and Liam, with his intelligence, didn't notice? Impossible.

Mu Ning's burning rage was directed at Wu Jiao; her cold smile returned as she watched him struggle.

Agony slowly consumed the chef's mind; the biting pain was like the waves of the ocean, increasing with each minute.

Regret consumed his mind. If only he hadn't let momentary benefits blind his eyes...

Mu Ning pushed him on the ground, and the chef tried to cough out the spider... however, to his horror, nothing came out.

The next second, he was kicked hard in his stomach, making him spit out the spider. What was even more gross was that the spider was still alive.

With a wave of her hand, Mu Ning stored the spider.

Her cold eyes landed on the chef, and she returned to her indifferent state. Walking toward the kitchen as if nothing had happened.

To others, it may seem that Mu Ning had finally stopped going crazy, but only the system knew... the chef's nightmare had just begun.

The spider Mu Ning had stuffed in the chef's mouth would mess up his taste buds. From now on, whenever Wu Jiao consumes anything, he will feel as if thousands of spiders are crawling in his body.

He would feel disgusted and throw up... until he would die.

Mu Ning entered the kitchen and started preparing food.

First, she gently placed a pot of water on the stove for the wonton soup, watching as small bubbles slowly began to rise and the soft sound of boiling filled the kitchen.

Next, she mixed the minced meat with soy sauce, her fingers moving quickly but carefully as she filled each wonton wrapper and folded it into neat little shapes.

One by one, she dropped them into the hot water, her eyes following them as they sank.

Then, she turned to another stove and set a pan on it. She added a little oil, followed by garlic, and soon a warm, rich smell spread around her.

She placed the fresh greens into the pan for the stir-fried bok choy, gently stirring as they sizzled, the leaves turning soft and glossy.

At the same time, she reached for a small pot and poured in milk for the almond jelly. She added sugar and a hint of almond flavor, stirring it slowly as it warmed.

When it was ready, she mixed in gelatin and poured the smooth liquid into a tray, setting it aside to cool.

Thereafter, she quickly prepared the broth for the soup, adding garlic, a little soy sauce, and seasoning into the pot.

Just then, the wontons began to float to the top, and she poured the light broth over them, letting everything simmer together for a moment.

Outside the kitchen, a few servants stood quietly, not daring to step closer.

The warm, comforting scent of the soup, rich with garlic and broth, drifted through the air.

The soft, savory smell of the greens, slightly crisp and fresh, followed. Even the light, sweet scent of the jelly lingered gently.

For a fleeting moment, one of them even had the urge to just rush in and... beg Mu Ning for the food.

But remembering Wu Jiao's condition, they could only swallow back their words. Many of them were even cowering in fear, after all... once they had bullied Gwen and Warren.

Now they were silently praying that Mu Ning wouldn't remember them.

Wu Jiao, however, was burning with rage. Rather than confronting, he rushed to the corner and reported everything to his owner.

While staring in the direction of the kitchen, he muttered, "Mu Ning... just you wait... I will make you regret whatever you have done! B*tch! Sl*t."

Gwen and Warren didn't leave their room this time; hence, they missed the spectacle. They knew... once they stepped out and Mu Ning presented them with delicious food... their resolve would waver.

Knock! Knock!

The two little ones flinched, hearing the sound of knocking, their rising heartbeats resembling the sound.

Warren pursed his lips and slowly padded to the door. He placed his hand on the door, and it opened.

Compared to traditional doors that required locks, interstellar era doors, while retaining their appearance, open when the owner places their hand on the door and thinks of opening it.

Seeing Mu Ning standing at the entrance with a tray in her hand, Warren stubbornly pursed his lips and said,

"We would rather not eat it! Take it away!"
