(A/N: Finally reached Chapter 50 on Patreon!)
The transport ship landed on Stormwind's landing port and the ramp lowered with Alastor walked out flanked by both Windsor and Gavinrad, sighing as he beheld Stormwind City.
"No place like home" He muttered as he smiled a bit.
"Not like it was going anywhere Al" A voice called from behind him.
"She's right you know, sometimes you make it seem like you haven't seen it for decades, when at most it's has been a year since your last visit"
"Haha come on it's the thought that counts" Alastor smiled as he looked behind himself.
From behind him came two very beautiful women, a human and High Elf respectively as they too disembarked from the ship's ramp.
They were Jaina Proudmoore and Alleria Windrunner, Alastor's friends now turned fiancés who had come with him back to Stormwind.
Rhonin who stayed back at Dalaran teased both of them by saying how they were going to acquaint themselves with their future in-laws.
Suffice to say the poor (foolish) man was forced to frantically dance through a barrage of arcane and plasma arrow before being turned into a ice sculpture.
Suddenly Alastor thought maybe leaving him alone in Dalaran wasn't such a good idea considering how prone to trouble his best friend was.
'Oh god please don't get yourself killed Rhonin!' As troublesome he could be, he was still his best friend and he would be very upset if he was killed one day because of what came out of his mouth.

Soon the group made their way to Stormwind Castle as Alastor dismissed Windsor and Gavinrad for the moment as well so that they may visit friends and family too.
Finally Alastor, Alleria and Jaina entered the castle as Alastor was given respectful salutes by the Royal guards.
"Alastor!" A voice called out as they all turned and saw Varian Wrynn along with a beautiful blonde woman.
"Brother! By the light it's great to see you!" Alastor gave his elder brother a grin and the two of them gave eachother a one armed hug.
"The feeling is mutual little brother" Varian just as warmly greeted Alastor, who then turned to the women beside him and recognized her as his sister-in-law Tiffin.
"Lady Tiffin great to see you too, or better yet I should be calling you sister now"
Tiffin chuckled at Alastor, already being acquainted with the younger prince for years along with Varian.
"You too Alastor, and please none of that formal stuff with me"
Ironically when Alastor was small and innocent Tiffin took a liking to the adorable younger prince much more than Varian who at that she could barely stand and for Varian it was mutual.
Innocent and unwitting little Alastor was in turn made into a de-facto peacemaker by Taria who would always put the toddler between Varian and Tiffin who would then be unwilling to escalate to not upset him.
But that did not stop the younger Tiffin from cooing and spoiling the small demigod and even ask him if he wanted to be her little brother instead.
Which struck a nerve in Varian considering he had already had to stand this witch at his home NOW this witch wanted to steal his little brother!?
So it was very hilarious for Alastor when he found out in one of his return trips how these two who could barely stand the other had ended up falling for eachother when they met again after reaching their maturity.
And now Tiffin was officially married to Varian and a part of the Wrynn family.

Soon Alastor also met with his father and mother who were done with their own duties and were happy to see him too.
Currently all of them were in the dining chamber having a wide plethora of food.
"Jaina, Alleria don't be shy while at Stormwind." Taria smiled at the two of them.
"Thank you your highness" Jaina replied to her only for Taria to shake her head in return.
"Oh none of that formal crap, Jaina. You and Alleria are practically family too at this point"
Jaina blushed a bit that and Alleria choked on a sea cuisine she was eating feeling her own face heat up.
Well it was technically not a lie, they were engaged to Alastor.
Speaking of Alastor he fake coughed a bit to save his lovers from his over eager mother. "Mother how about giving them some time to adjust"
Llane smiled at the display, while Varian shook his head wryly beside his wife.
After some time Alastor looked at his father confused as he asked. "Father where's uncle Anduin? I haven't seen him while making my way over thinking he was perhaps beside you?"
Llane frowned for a bit as Alastor asked that. "Well the thing is Alastor that Anduin is not in the city at all"
"There has been some problems lately...."
Alastor immediately caught on to something wrong. "By problems father?"
"It's the Orks of the Savage Lands and Beastkin in Stranglethorn Vale. Both of them have been very active since the start of the month and the border outposts as well as fortresses had to be reinforced"
"What? but to send uncle as well? is the situation that bad?"
"Oh thankfully no Alastor" Llane shook his head at his son.
"Anduin offered to go himself to Fort Clover to break whatever gathering of Orks there was, a bit overkill but knowing he was there would most likely mean the problems at the Savage Lands will be resolved at least"
Alastor nodded slowly but he still frowned at worry.
"Understandable, knowing it's uncle he would most likely have things handled"
Alastor despite his words couldn't help but feel his mind going to the problems in the north as well, to the resurgence of Black cults.
Not to mention there was the whole tensions with the northern and southern alliances as well.
Taria frowned at Alastor seeing his look. "Alastor is something wrong?"
"No mother.....it's....mother do we have any news of what happening in the North the only thing I heard was there was Black cult activity and the Church was handling it"
Alastor changed his decision and decided to directly ask, knowing that Stormwind had it's own intelligence agency called SI:7 which his mother normally handles alongside it's leader Mathias Shaw.
The frown on Taria's face did not reassure her. "...Yes there has been Black mage activity in the north but that's not all"
"Beastkin activity in the Silvermoon forest have also increased, not to mention there has been multiple sites of forbidden magic being used around Lordaeron, which have caused their own fair bit of problems."
Jaina and Alleria's eyes widened as they also began paying attention.
"So many!? then mother how hasn't Uther and the rest of the Paladins already flushed them out?"
Alastor was incredulous and he knew that the Church and the Order of the Silver Hands were led by good and very capable people in the form of Alonsus Faol and Uther so it did not stand to reason why the problem hasn't been solved.
Llane grunted in displeasure. "Politics"
Alastor looked at his father confused while Taria elaborated.
"They have been scouring around Lordaeron to see wherever the cult's leadership was but have come out empty if anything whatever clues they have gotten point to Alterac, Lordaeron current ally"
"There are Black cults in Alterac!?"
"Officially no, in actuality yes" Taria massaged her temple feeling a headache.
"And King Aiden is adamant on not allowing any of the Church's personnel in his territory saying that there are no Black mages in his kingdom he's backed by King Terenas as well"
Jaina, Alastor and Alleria gave her incredulous looks but it was Varian who answered this time.
"As father said little brother, Politics." The crown prince snarled in disgust.
"King Terenas has become paranoid with our consolidation of power in the south that he intends to keep any and all available allies closely bound to his kingdom even if they are self destructive fools like Aiden"
"Aiden himself has been under lots of scrutiny on his adamant stance on keeping others especially the Church out of his kingdom but since he's backed by Terenas, the Archbishop and the Lightbringer both have their hands tied unless they can provide undeniable proof to allow an investigation"
Alastor found the situation a recipe for disaster.
A human king with possible connection to Black mages, multiple stirrings of the largest Beastkin holds, Orks themselves stirring in the Savage Lands not to mention that the King of the largest human Kingdom was content on holding off the situation to conserve some metaphorical power!?
Llane seeing the joyous atmosphere turning dark clapped his hands and got everyone's attention as he gave them a comforting smile.
"Enough of that! I know the situation seems worrying but it's nothing new"
"Beastkin warherds always stir when they reach a certain size, we have been killing them for the last few millennia and we will continue to do so, the same is with the Orks in fact Anduin is most likely already there resolving the situation"
"As for the Black mage activity we do not need to worry not only is he happening in the north but if a Black cult is really involved than Dalaran will intervene as well to eliminate them"
"When that happens, I along with Daelin and Thoras will also put our support in eradicating them and put sufficient pressure on Terenas to pull back on his support allowing a full sweep in Alterac"
"If there are truly Black mages there, they will be killed and if Aiden has any part of the involvement than even his crown will not save him"
Llane's words calmed everyone down especially Alastor as they found them very reasonable.
"Alastor why not show Alleria and Jaina around he castle and the city or even Elwynn forest it would be good for them to get a lay of the land"
Alastor nodded at that especially when he saw Alleria perk up at the thought of exploring Elwynn forest, a Windrunner through and through.
Jaina also gave him a nod at the though of exploring the city.
"Then father, mother, brother and sister we'll be off" Alastor got up along with his fiances.
"Take care my son"
"Till next time brother"
"Remember to put a barrier on when you do the deed with them"
"MOTHER!" Alastor looked back scandalized at Taria as Jaina was making a very apt impression of a tomato while Alleria feeling a rare bout of mischievousness turned back and said in a serious tone.
"Understood, I will make sure to remind them when we intercourse"
Now Alastor gave her a incredulous look as Llane and Varian choked on their wine while Tiffin was laughing hysterically and Taria giving Alleria a proud smile.
"See! at least my future daughter-in-law gets it!"
"Come here you!" Jaina finally having enough grabbed Alleria and dragged her out followed by Alastor.
"I think I very much like your mother don't you think so too Jaina"
"Please for our dignity's sake stop talking Alleria" Jaina almost pleaded with her as they made their way out. "But...I guess you are right"
"You two please, I already suffer enough under my mom." Alastor meanwhile pleaded with them not to be corrupted by his mother or worse become her compatriots.
