--------------------------------------------------------

It took some time for Alastor to grow used to living in Dalaran but if he was anything it was adaptable especially when his fellow apprentice helped him get adjusted while helping him start his basic studies on magic.

Jaina and Alastor had become quick friends especially when they found their mutual love for innovation and research, on this case when it came to magic.

Jaina would lie if she said she was not amazed by the speed at which Alastor went through magic and spell books not to mention how quickly he was able to digest the knowledge and put it to use.

It was equally unnerving as it was fascinating to watch.

Alastor on the other hand to thank Jaina for the help she was providing him, helped her out on her own studies when he was himself was done studying and absorbing the specific part she was having problems on.

Due to this Jaina felt her own progress increase not to mention Alastor always gave ingenious and efficient insights and perspectives that expanded her own horizons.

Suffice to say Jaina found that she quite liked her junior apprentice brother.

--------------------------------------------------

Antonidas himself after he was done telling Alastor all about Dalaran and it's many facilities had started Alastor's tutoring sessions along with Jaina.

Antonidas had in this point proven himself as a patient and capable teacher whether it came to teaching magic or helping him develop his Psionics.

For Jaina it was another shock when she found that Alastor could use supernatural powers himself without accessing the Aether.

In the end she joined her master not only to help Alastor in his arcane mastery but to also have him develop his "Psionics".

In this time Alastor felt much more comfortable when it came to the use of his powers at the very least he now had somewhat of a direction in how he wanted to develop them.

------------------------------------------------------

One day when Alastor was walking through the streets of Dalaran alone as Windsor and Gavinrad were off to do a errand of his he caught sight of a group of apprentice mages walking away from another apprentice who was on the ground.

Alastor went to the downed apprentice and saw that the Auburn haired young man was flat on the ground with his nose broken and bleeding.

 "Need some help?"

"Uh Oh! no, no need" The young man hastily got up and dusted his robes off. "Just a minor argument with fellow mages"

"You do realize you're nose is broken due to that right? and maybe you should get that looked at by a priest?"

"Bah! it's nothing much" He waved his hand and dismissed it with a fearless grin.

"It's bleeding" Alastor told him in a deadpan tone as the guy's nose really was bleeding.

"What actually did happen for her to punch you that hard?"

"Oh nothing much our group was comparing our Frostbolt spells and I just commented how hers was the same size as her boyfriend's"

"...I see that she left you off easy" Alastor wondered if this idiot could control his mouth if he actually did not understand how that would come out?

"You too! I don't see what I said wrong?" The young man was honestly bewildered.

Alastor facepalmed and the young man who's name he will find out soon was Rhonin would experience what it was like to be carried like a sack of potatoes as Alastor dragged him to see a priest for his broken nose.

Who would have known that this young man would become one of Alastor's closest friends and confidants.

------------------------------------------------

Alastor had also met with other esteemed Archmages as well like Sathera, A high Elven Archmage but one not a part or even affiliated with the Silvermoon council of Quel'thalas and a close friend of Antonidas.

Alastor also met with Modera and Krasus a lot as well and unlike last time Krasus did not seem to have any other abnormalities.

Unknown to him Krasus had tried to peer into what Alastor was and even though he understood Alastor was human albeit more akin to a human Demigod, Krasus could not find the source of that previous feeling of dread and power.

So he had instead took a wait and see approach with Alastor and just treated him normally.

--------------------------------------------------------

Perhaps one of the most significant person Alastor met was the Heir of Quel'thalas. Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider.

Apparently he had already been in Dalaran for the last few years for training and to broaden his horizons and even amongst his kind had distinguished himself as a very capable mage.

The two had found quite a few things in common, both of them were dedicated to their people and had noble characters which led to them becoming fast acquaintances.

Though Alastor did find that Kael'thas had some underlying arrogance as well as a need to prove his worth.

Kael'thas on the other hand found Alastor pleasant and good company to be around as well as a good rival when it came to arcane arts.

And then Jaina....proceeded to introduce him to someone as well.

----------------------------------------------

Alastor shook hands with another long blonde haired young man with Jaina beside them.

"Pleasure to make your acquaintance, I am Alastor Wrynn of Stormwind" Alastor smiled politely at the blonde in front of him who gave him a proud smile.

"Well met Alastor, I am Arthas Menethil of Lordaeron."

"Jaina told me a lot about you and by the light I feel we will be the best of friends"

"I would very much like that Prince Arthas" Alastor gave him a much more relaxed smile in return. "Please call me Arthas, if we are to be friends let's forgo the formalities"

Alastor laughed. "If you say so Arthas"

Jaina this time interjected. "How about we continue these talks over supper, I know this quaint but good place in Dalaran we can go to"

And thus the two young men and one young woman walked away.

...Fate is truly a fickle mistress....
