Antonidas led Alastor and his aides/bodyguards in the Violet Tower also called the Violet Citadel showing multiple aspects of it and telling of some of it's history.

"The Tower is perhaps the most important part of Dalaran, not only does it house many important research laboratories but also great spell libraries"

"It is also where the leaders of Dalaran live and were you will also be staying with your guards in the time of your tutelage"

Alastor knew from his foreknowledge this was also the meeting place whenever the Council of Six had to convene in the Chamber of Air as well as the Vault which contained some very valuable or dangerous artefacts.

But he kept that to himself knowing that the identities of the members of the Council of Six was a secret with the vast majority of people only knowing that Antonidas was the Head Archmage of Kirin Tor and possibly a member of it.

This was a measure to prevent bribery, blackmail, and undue pressure.

"Master I heard that 2,800 ago humans were introduced to magic by the High Elves? how true is that?"

"You heard right but that is a very simple way to remember our past" Antonidas shook his head as he continued their tour.

"The truth is that even before the High Elves and Emperor Thoradin, humanity was capable of magic but in that time magic was both revered and feared by the warring tribes"

"Most Tribes that did not have a learned mage would not be able to train the people that showed the gift of the arcane and due to this their powers would go out of control harming themselves and others at best"

"At worst it would rip a hole within reality and allow the deluge of Malicious entities that dwell within the Aether we call Daemons"

"But that did not mean Mages were all bad, some were exceptional and through self training had mastered their powers, the knowledge of which they would pass on to their own apprentices."

"A tribe with a Mage was considered strong but one with even more was a Kingdom in it's own right."

Antonidas stopped at a mural that depicted human mages and warriors fighting monstrous beings.

"When Emperor Thoradin had united the human tribes and drove the enemies mankind out, the High Elves in a act of friendship or maybe a transaction had shared crucial knowledge of the Arcane which filled the gaps humans had with their own knowledge"

"This laid the groundwork for the future foundation of magic for human mages and after a thousand years of development the most learned and wise of those mages had erected this very city in the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom via magical studies."

Alastor frowned as he also looked at the murals. "So how did the Black Mages fit into all of this?"

"I'm getting to that, you remember how I said the dangers of those with uncontrolled Magic? well after the inception of Dalaran rules were made to regulate mages and structuralize arcane knowledge."

"The ancient Archmages of the first Council of Six understood the dangers of magic as much as it's wonders and the maliciousness of Daemons and thus had made the Magic Tenets for safe arcane mastery and study"

"Studies like Necromancy were forbidden as well as acts like human experimentation, others like Blood magic were restricted and convening/dealing with Daemons was strictly forbidden to name a few of the Tenets"

"Almost everyone agreed with the Tenets but some radical or insane individuals, call them what you will saw these rules as chains and threw themselves fully into the forbidden arts becoming the first of Black Mages"

"A persistent blight that the Kirin Tor had been trying to wipe out for many years"

Antonidas led Alastor to his personal library, the chamber itself was very large and had many book shelves filled with many books and grimoires.

The lighting was good as well and there was a circular table in the middle in which a certain someone sat, who was going through a spell book.

"Child! come here for a minute there's someone I would like you to meet" Antonidas called out to his first apprentice.

The soon to be identified Jaina looked curiously at Antonidas then at Alastor and his guards before closing the book and making her way over.

Alastor's eyes widened a bit as he saw the beautiful young woman and he had to admit even amongst elves her looks were truly something to behold.

Long golden blonde hair with deep ocean blue eyes despite being 14 due to bearing the Royal genetic bloodline her body had started developing early and in 2-3 years at most she would reach her physical maturity.

Jaina herself found herself a bit taken aback by the handsome young man beside her master, Shoulder length black hair, indigo eyes along with a toned but muscular body.

And oddly enough he seemed to give out some sort of "presence" or invisible "aura" that made you feel relaxed and safe as if everything was going to be alright.

She had to admit that this man was at the very least as handsome as her friend Arthas.

Antonidas smiled as he introduced both of them to eachother.

"Child this is your new sibling disciple I had told you about, Alastor Wrynn of Stormwind. Alastor this is my first apprentice and your senior, Jaina Proudmoore of Kul Tiras"

'This is the miracle prince of Stormwind' Jaina's eyes widened as she finally put a name to the young man who to her surprised happened to be the almost unreal prince she had been hearing a lot off.

Youngest Forgemaster, Youngest Knight, legendary combatant and a utter prodigy in the many things he does.

'This is the princess of Kul Tiras?' Alastor himself took the reveal much more easily in stride.

For one he already heard how the princess was a genius when it came to magic to the point she even became Antonidas apprentice.

Secondly he had to admit that the tales of her emerging beauty by the traveling bards were not in fact exaggerated.

"It is an honour to meet you Princess Jaina" Alastor bowed in respect to his fellow royal.

"The feeling is mutual, Prince Alastor" Jaina herself gave him a curtsy in her mage robes.

"I hope you two will get along and help eachother in your tasks and studies while under my tutelage, in the meantime Alastor let me show you your living quarters as well, the rest of the things can be talked about tomorrow"

"Yes Master I shall endeavour to help my junior in his stay, I hope you enjoy your time here Alastor and if you need anything let me know if I am able to help."

Jaina nodded at Antonidas and then gave Alastor her offer of help with a beautiful smile.

"I will like that very much Lady Jaina"

Alastor returned her smile before following Antonidas who showed him a spacious chamber with a bed, desk, closet and other amenities as well as a balcony with a great view over Dalaran.

Windsor and Gavinrad themselves were given rooms beside his as they all unpacked and relaxed.

Alastor laid on his bed as he sighed on the start of another chapter of his life in the magical city before allowing himself to finally fall asleep.
