Chapter 25 - A heart attack

Kerry couldn't shut a giggle, seeing the way Don was lying down with his mouth open like a child sleeping, as drool kept sogging the mattress adding to her own release.

[You should have picked another target. Honestly speaking she is worse than you. Look at her giggle at you, forgetting that her duty to save lives as a nurse]

[For those who dont understand it is the system's inner monologue. Hahahh,

—_—

Please don't hate this novel, my author is dumb, and this is his best attempt at comedy, EVEN THOUGH THE MC IS DYING]

Kerry stoped her cute little amusement at him, which was totally uncalled for, and then went to flip him over, like he was a pickle with limbs.

She checked his pulse, it was low and his breathing was non existent, he was also unconscious.

She immediately diagonosed him to be under cardiac arrest. Her years of experience in medical field working in the ER gave her confidence, and she didn't waste another second.

She then hopped off, of the mattress and then quickly reached for the nearby drawer and yanked it open.

It had all kinds of equipment's for immediate assistance.

She then took out a fresh syringe and needle. After wetting a wad of cotton with rubbing alcohol, she went on to prepping Don's skinny arms.

She tapped the skin on his forearm, near the elbows inner fold, finding a vein to inject him. Then took out an ampule of synthetic epinephrine from the refrigerator.

She fixed the needle on to the syringe and injected it to the ampule and pulled out a generous volume of it.

She then pressed the needle on his skin, and then the nerve, and injected the whole medication.

Then Kerry gave him a proper cpr.

Some time passed and she brought his heart back to a normal stage.

After seeing his heart getting it's rhythm back, she let out a sigh of relief as a smile of saving his life curled her lips in delight.

But soon her face stiffened as the looming danger he was in, surfaced to her mind.

The night's darkness, devoid of the sun, settled the streets as people and the sounds of vehicles and everyday toil diminished.

Through the open window to the balcony, a gentle breeze entered the room. It blew past the curtains and settled on Don's skin.

The chill of the cold wind falling on his naked torso, made his skin shiver, and he slowly opened his eyes, his eyes fell on an unfamiliar ceiling.

He knitted his eyebrows and sqinted his eyes as the dark room gave him an eerie squeak.

Seeing the flowing curtains of the balcony, his mind drifted of to what had happend.

The images of the ambulance and the nurse and Valary the cop and-, and then Martha.

The way she looked at him with a sad face decorated by a fake smile, failing to hide her disappointment.

And then the moans of the slutty nurse, and the taste of her nipples came back to his mind.

Along with it the question he asked himself.

'Will he become a villain with no regard to what others felt and wanted or will he let go of everything.'

And then he heard a squeak as someone stepped in from the balcony.

He propped himself up, his heart beat fast and his body stiffened in alert.

The silhouette of the person stepping in made by the faint glow of the moon.

The sound of a switch flipping on, soon followed by a bright light illuminating the room.

The light made Don's eyes quiver and his eye lids shutting close, as his eyes struggled to adjust to the sudden brightness.

As he opened his eyes after a moment, he saw the walls painted light pink, the bed he was on and the pink curtains.

His face lingered a bit on the mirror, his mind hasn't gotten used to this new body and face.

"Hey..."

Hearing the sweet sound he turned towards the voice, and saw a beautiful face. It was the very nurse who he had the steamy moment's with.

Her face lit up as she saw him.

'Its the nurse-', then he remembered what had happend.

The system flickering out as his eyes closed, and. And then every thing blacked out.

Kerry looked at him, she saw as his eyes eased down and then his face turned sad.

"Hmm" she sighed, "you fell unconscious, how are you feeling. Any pain?"

With soft steps she walked towards him, she was wearing a pair of pink tiny short, which gently hugged the curve of her but. Her white tank top pressed to her bountiful breasts and short enough to reveal her naval and her thin waist.

Her hips swaying as her weight shifted from leg to leg. Her pink hair tied up in a lazy ponytail. Her brown eyes lit up, and her hand, holding on to a cup of bobba.

She sat down beside him as the bedframe creaked and her body sinking in to the soft mattress she placed the cup near the bedside table, right beside her pink teddy bear plushy.

And then turned to him, Don was sitting with his back against the beds head rest.

"Did you sleep well?"

He nodded.

"Huff, i was really scared when you just fell on to me".

She said placing a hand over her chest, as she sighed.

Don wondered, 'so i fell unconscious, but-',

His eyes narrowed down to her, 'why am I here, isn't she a nurse. By all accounts she should have taken me to the hospital, instead I am here'.

Seeing him tense up she talked, " Dont worry i am not trying to kidnap you, see?", she pointed at the other side of the bed.

A stand was right next to the bed, and there was a bottle of IV fluid. And a thin wire which carried its fluids, as he trailed down he saw it needled to the back of his his left hand.

"I don't feel it." He mumbled under his breath in awe.

"Hmm, I feared that.", she got close to him and sat on her knees. She leaned forward, as her cleavage was right in his face.

Noticing his gaze, she giggled, 'Hahaha, look at him, he's ogling me, just you wait soon we will pick up were we left off.'

She pinched his left hand, "do you feel it?"

"Huh?"

He turned his head and saw her pinching him, "Hey,...", but he stalled as he felt nothing.

"You dont feel it do you"

He shook his head in reply.

"Hmm, I think i should have taken you to the hospital, afterall"

—_—,

He shot her a deadpan look, 'seriously'.
