Chapter 3 - Girl in The Toilet: Encounter

Brakk!

The wind suddenly surged toward Cody and Evan, forcefully slamming them against the wall. It whipped around the filthy men's restroom with incredible strength. They had been warned to stay away and not enter, but Cody couldn't ignore the pitiful cries echoing from the abandoned toilet.

Evan holds Cody's hand tight, looking around. A phenomenal like this always happens when Cody encounters the remains, or death, or the ghost, you name it. He grabbed Cody's hand and got ready to run out of there. But, the wind came again, This time it's broke the toilet door, the room number three in the center which to be said, a girl was hanging herself to death there.

"Cod, we better get out of here!" shout Evan. Yeah, that's what Cody have in mind. But a if his body, all of his hand and feet were bound to the floor, unable to lift any of it.

"Yeah, go ahead, Van, I'll follow you" said Cody in somewhat, shaking voice.

From all the ghosts he ever encounters, the one that scared him the most was the one which was now already hanging above him.

The long, curly black hair swept the floor, filthy as if untouched for decades. The dangling feet, grimy and black, displayed rotten flesh and long nails. Up to her calves, the ghost — likely a girl — wore a long midi lace skirt that appeared white but was equally soiled, paired with a shirt that resembled white lace, possibly part of the same set. Cody swallowed hard, trying not to look, but the ghost's shiny black eyes, peering through her thick, curly hair, locked onto him.

Cody was filled with fear and could only glance for a moment before turning his head away. He gripped Evan's hand tightly.

"Evan, run!" He shouted, but in a small voice. Evan couldn't see the ghost, but he could feel the pressure from the spirit around them as Cody told him. It was such a strong and heavy energy. He pulled Cody's hand up from the floor and ran to the exit.

Cody's body went limp as the pressure from the malevolent spirits swirled around the room. The violent wind caused the chaos with all the dust and leaves flying in random directions followed by the terrible screech. He had to cover his ears from the loud agony sounds that piercing right into his heart.

They both managed to reach the door, just a step away from exiting the room, when a powerful force slammed it shut. The next thing they knew, Evan was being pushed out of the room, but Cody was not.

Evan's eyes widened as he realized his best friend was still trapped behind the jammed door. Despite his trembling knees, he crawled to the door and banged on it desperately to try to open it.

"Damn it. Cody!"

Inside the toilet, Cody's body was pressed so hard against the wall. The ghost, small yet incredibly strong, strangled him by the neck, pinning him so hard with immense force. The wind blew all her hair and showed part of her rotten face with skin and flesh full of maggots.

"Let me go" The young man uses his remaining strength to set him self free, but he knows it is all in vain. The ghost is incredibly powerful, her body is no larger than Cody's, yet the evil spirits surrounding her enable her to touch and even strangle him.

He might die, Cody thought. He start to lose his vision and can't hardly breath. It was a bad idea to enter the room in the first place; he should have listened to the voice inside his head.

The wind incredibly strong, spun around the room, caused the dust and the dry leaves form the cyclone up to the high ceiling.

Evan still banging the door, when suddenly, a light come from behind his shoulder.

"Hey, what are you doing there?"

Evan turned around and raised his hand to block the flashlight aimed at his face. He smiled as the two large campus security officers stood in front of him. They been caught in act.

"He, hey Sirs,"

Just as Evan was about to ask for help, the door behind him opened. Cody pushing the door and then limply falling into his arms.

"Cody!"

Cody's breath hitched, heavy as if he had been running for so far. He held his neck, where the marks from the strangulation were clearly visible.

"Cody, are you alright?" Evan shouted in worry. The two security guards in front just stood, staring at the deserted toilet, then glanced at each other. Both might have thought, "These two young men are indeed crazy to come in here in the middle of the night like this?"
