As the three Crimson Nova the Dark Cubic Lords were sent to the GY as Fusion Material, a dimensional rift was torn violently open. Dark purple energy gathered like a swirling vortex.
Three twisted beams of dark light poured down from the void, condensing at the center of the field into a gigantic dark red pyramid. Lava-like lines flowed over its surface, like a curse that had crawled up from the deepest pits of the abyss.
Diva thrust his arm high and roared.
"Gather, o wicked consciousness! Lead this world into a despair where no light can reach! Now, descend from the pitch-black shadows and manifest yourself—
Crimson Nova Trinity the Dark Cubic Lord!!!"
The pyramid exploded with a thunderous crack. Three dark red heads emerged from the fractures, each one coiled in destruction-laden dark energy. Crimson pupils gleamed with a light that looked ready to devour all radiance.
Its body was clad in dark red armor, with three pairs of gigantic bone wings extending from its shoulders. When they spread, they seemed to cover half the Duel Field, the dark energy dripping from the wing tips corroding the ground beneath into charred pits.

Dark energy flowed like molten rock as a new Cubic monster appeared on the field. It was a deep violet creature encased in a transparent cube, armed with sharp axes and blades. Just about every joint on its body housed a strange single eye.
All of those eyes rotated in unison, clicking as they turned, staring at Yusaku across the field.

"It's not over yet!" Diva shouted. "I activate the effect of Vulcan Dragni the Cubic King in my hand. This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. It can be Special Summoned by sending 2 'Cubic' monsters you control to the GY,
and if it's Special Summoned this way, this card gains 1600 ATK!"
"I send Duza the Meteor Cubic Vessel and Vijam the Cubic Seed I control to the GY to Special Summon Vulcan Dragni the Cubic King!"
The gathered golden motes of light swelled rapidly, like golden bubbles popping from within. A fiery red divine bird appeared, cloaked in rushing streams of light.

The crimson monster soared into the air, its steel wings flashing as they cut through the sky. The arcs of its blades turned into two spinning golden rings that passed straight through Yusaku's holographic body.

"It's been a long time since my LP dropped below 8000. I almost forgot what that felt like," Yusaku said.
Diva chuckled lightly. "7200 LP is only for now. Very soon, it won't be 7200 anymore!"
As he spoke, he pulled out another card and played it.
"I activate the Continuous Spell Card Cubic Dharma!"
"Its effect lets me, during my Main Phase, send 1 'Cubic' card from my hand to the GY to draw 1 card from my Deck."
Diva flashed another card from his hand.
"I send Unification of the Cubic Lords from my hand to the GY and draw 1 card."
He drew and glanced at the card. When he saw what it was, the corner of his mouth curled up slightly.
Then he took the last card in his hand and, together with the newly drawn card, slid both into his Duel Disk.
"I Set 2 cards and end my turn."
"End Phase."
Diva announced.
"The effect of Crimson Nova the Dark Cubic Lord will now activate. During your End Phase, it must activate and inflicts 3000 damage to both players."
The instant he finished speaking, the dark red magic circle beneath Crimson Nova the Dark Cubic Lord suddenly expanded.
A vortex-shaped energy field enveloped the entire Duel Field in blood-red light. Dark energy gushed out of the circle like molten lava, directly eroding both players' Life Points.

Yusaku had just added the drawn card to his hand when his opponent's voice cut across the field.
"At the moment your Draw Phase ends, I activate the Trap Card Threatening Roar. Its effect: your opponent cannot declare an attack this turn!"
After activating the card, Diva looked at Yusaku and gave a soft laugh. "You can't attack this turn. Still feel like smiling?"

Yusaku shot him a sidelong glance.

The moment they saw what Yusaku was holding, the viewers in Cheese Crit's livestream completely lost their composure. The barrage exploded.
