Seeing Kiara enter the throne hall, Callista could barely hold herself back. She took a small step forward, her eyes fixed on her daughter, but stopped herself before anyone could notice. She had waited so long for this moment, yet now that Kiara was standing right in front of her, she didn't know how to approach her without making things awkward. In the end, she forced herself to remain with the others, silently watching as the Emperor prepared to introduce his guests.
Alexander settled into his seat and looked around the hall.
"Some of you already know her as Kiara, while others have only heard about her as the Firearms Merchant. Let me introduce her properly. This is my daughter, Kyra Phoenix. And beside her is Princess Scarlett Leon of the Leon Empire."
Kiara gave everyone a small smile and nodded in greeting.
"Hello, everyone."
