"That's the plan." Kiara walked toward the car and glanced back at her. "Come on. Get in."
Scarlett approached it slowly, examining the unusual doors and the smooth white body. She had already grown used to Kiara bringing strange things out of nowhere, but that did not mean she had stopped being curious about them.
"How many strange vehicles do you have hidden away?" she asked as she got inside.
"Enough."
"That's not an answer."
"It's the answer you're getting."
Scarlett gave her a look, but Kiara had already settled into the driver's seat. She closed the door, started the engine, and adjusted a few controls before the car began moving.
Outside, several people who had been passing by stopped to watch. Some stared openly at the strange vehicle, while others exchanged confused looks as it rolled away from the store.
"Another weird puppet carriage that Miss Kiara has unleashed," someone muttered.
