**Chapter 33: Anko's Peculiar Red Beans**
"Wow! Finally home!"
Standing outside Konoha Village, Naruto gazed leisurely at the entrance gate, the Kusanagi Sword hanging at his hip, its blade emitting a faint green glow.
"Granny Tsunade, I'm off! Call me if you need anything!"
Waving goodbye to Tsunade, Naruto hurried toward his house, his heart racing with anticipation. *It's been so long, Haku. Are you doing okay? Have you been eating properly? Have you missed me?*
"Hey, brat! Where's your respect for your teacher? You haven't even said goodbye! I'm your teacher, you know..."
Jiraiya's furious voice boomed from behind Naruto.
"Haku! I'm back! Open the door!" Naruto shouted upstairs.
A moment later, the door creaked open.
"Haku..."
Without looking, Naruto threw his arms around the person who opened the door, assuming it was Haku.
"Stupid Naruto! All you think about is Haku! Go die! *Pow!*"
Sakura punched Naruto in the stomach, her face contorted with fury, then clapped her hands and stormed off.
"Ugh... Sakura? What are you doing here?"
Clutching his stomach in agony, Naruto forced a pained glance at Sakura.
*Damn it, I'm not worthy of such a beauty...*
"Naruto-nii, what's wrong? Where's Sakura?"
Haku hurried over to Naruto, who was doubled over in pain outside the door, and began gently massaging his stomach, his face etched with concern and confusion.
"N-nothing... Sakura had to leave early. Let's... let's go inside."
Naruto leaned on Haku's delicate shoulder as Haku helped him inside.
"Okay, Naruto-nii, take it easy..."
After guiding Naruto into the house, Haku closed the door behind them.
"Haku, it's been a few days. Did you miss me?"
Lying on the bed with Haku in his arms, Naruto grinned as he stroked Haku's radiant, delicate face.
"I did," Haku murmured, snuggling into Naruto's embrace like a docile kitten, his soft purrs making Naruto's heart flutter.
"Heh, Haku, look up."
Grasping Haku's chin, Naruto grinned mischievously, a sudden surge of desire flaring within him.
"Mm-hmm."
Haku obediently tilted his head back, meeting Naruto's fiery, possessive gaze. His beautiful eyes grew misty.
*Gulp...*
Swallowing hard, Naruto slowly lowered his head, a surprising nervousness creeping into his heart.
"Haku's first kiss..."
Naruto's heart pounded wildly. The last time he'd accidentally stolen Sakura's first kiss, he hadn't tasted anything, too preoccupied with escaping.
But this time, it was a real kiss...
"Hey, brat!"
Just as Haku shyly closed his beautiful eyes and Naruto slowly lowered his head, a sharp voice abruptly interrupted them.
Naruto froze, staring at the delicate face inches away. He glared furiously at Anko, who stood on the windowsill with an air of detached amusement.
"Hey! Don't you know it's incredibly rude to interrupt people at such a crucial moment?" Naruto snapped, his eyes blazing with anger.
"Oh, little brother, don't get so worked up. I'll treat you to dinner as an apology, okay?" Anko said with mock sincerity.
"You're doing this on purpose!" Naruto's face flushed crimson.
"Naruto-nii, don't be so angry..." Haku murmured, gently stroking Naruto's chest, his expression worried.
"Ooh, little brother, you've got a pretty girl who cares about you so much?" Anko teased, her eyes glinting with malice. *Perverted brat, seducing innocent girls everywhere. Just wait till I get my hands on you!*
"What do you want? Speak quickly and leave if you have nothing to say!"
Naruto glared impatiently at Anko. *Damn it, hurry up and get out of here! You're ruining my perfect day.*
"Actually, I do have something to tell you," Anko said, smiling at Naruto.
"What is it?" Naruto asked irritably.
"Little sister, may I borrow Naruto for a moment to discuss something?" Anko ignored Naruto and addressed Haku, who was nestled in Naruto's arms.
"Ah... yes, of course. Naruto-nii, you should go with her. Business first." Haku nodded obediently, tugging gently on Naruto's sleeve.
"What kind of 'business' could she possibly have?" Naruto eyed Anko with suspicion and annoyance.
"You brat, are you coming or not? Fine, stay here then. I came here out of kindness to tell you something, and this is how you treat me?" Anko glared furiously at Naruto.
"Uh... I'll go, I'll go." Seeing Anko's expression, Naruto realized she might actually have something important to say and decided not to cause trouble at this critical moment.
*Heh heh, got you! You're dead meat this time, kid!* Anko thought gleefully.
"Hey, what's this about anyway? Can't you just say it here? There's no one around."
Naruto gazed helplessly at Anko, who was walking beside him with her head down, lost in thought.
"This is going to be a complicated discussion," Anko said without stopping, "let's find a place to sit down and talk."
"Alright..." Naruto nodded dejectedly, muttering under his breath, "What's the deal? Seriously, Haku's waiting for me."
"We're here!" Anko exclaimed, stopping in front of a building and letting out a relieved sigh, her voice brimming with barely concealed excitement.
"What's the big deal? It's just a tavern. What's so exciting about that? Look at how happy you are!" Naruto glanced up at the tavern sign on the roof, then turned to Anko with a bewildered expression.
"Ah... ha ha, it's nothing. I'm just glad we finally found a place to rest. Let's go inside." Anko gave an awkward laugh and pulled Naruto inside.
"Why does this feel so strange?" Naruto frowned, watching Anko's hurried movements. "She didn't seem this tired when we were walking... Why is she so happy about finding a place to rest?"
