They finally cornered him.

Jonathan shook violently.
"It's not me," he said. "I don't know what I do when I'm him."
Briggs raised his gun.
Jonathan lifted his hands.
"Please," Jonathan begged them—"end it—"
Switch.
Gunfire erupted.
Jonathan dove behind crates as The Captain analyzed every angle.
"Asset compromised," Briggs shouted. "Take him down!"
The Captain didn't shoot to kill.
He shot to escape.
And he did.
