Lucas didn't answer at first and just stared at his wife for a while before answering "I don't think I'll be back by then. I have a lot of works pending" he said softly, caressing her hair and kissed her forehead.
"Ok" she muttered in a soft tone
As he turned to leave, April suddenly felt the urge to hug him tightly again and followed her intuitive thoughts, as she held him tightly not letting him go.
"I love you!" He whispered into her ears
April raised her head to look at him in surprise, he smiled before saying it again "I love you, April!"
He kissed her lips before letting go and entering the car. April waved at the car till she saw it was not in sight again.
April strolled into the house gently as she was already feeling lonely, even though there were staff presently working in the house. Since she had nothing to do, she carried her working sheet and started drafting a design on it, so she wouldn't feel bored.
