Chapter 37 - The lost Brother and found Daughter

"Tell me" Leon was furious "How are you still alive"

Erachna resisted. She felt far inferior to The Revenant.

"That's something I would like to keep to myself"

The sickle went closer

"Let me ask you again," he whispered, "How are you still alive?"

That's when a girl ran out of the dark. Her hairs short and combed one side, her face virtuous and her hands trembling in fear

"Please, spare my mother" she cried

Leon laughed…

That was all he did. He laughed harder as if nothing happened.

"I wasn't going to kill her" he smiled and replied "it was barely an intimating move to declare my victory"

Erachna stood up and rushed to her daughter. Afraid of fatal consequences that could be molded.

"So, she is the reason" he glided those words

The girl was confused, completely relieved from her expression. Her eyes fixed on the warrior who spared her mother. She sighed and replied

"Yes, I'm the reason mother is still alive"

In that instance Erachna got a chance to deep in- she enhanced her eye chakra, igniting ritualistic decorum. A power was assessed by which she could understand someone's soul, by which she could assess their memories.

But something ensnared her as she couldn't reflect on Leon's memories. She appreciated the power and assessed the soul. Her eyes widened as she understood his tragedy.

The spirit Leon held had cerulean tint all across the edges- that signifies sadness.

Core close to his heart reflected a pale red punch- signifying warmth.

And widely close to his sternum was a black gulf waiting to be unleashed. A power that maddens him unchained.

And amidst the feeling, she sensed his true motive to Antagonise the Ascensions.

How drastic the leap was- Leon, who had no clue of his motive, who kept on repeating an endless determination to kill Tistra Domiscus, finally got reason. He finally got a family he wanted to protect.

"So, Leon" she whispered "can you take my daughter with you"

Leon was stunned… why wouldn't he be, after such absurd request

"My daughter…" Erachna's face saddened "she never got to see the world behind these walls. Her world was conceived by her mother and the shrine"

Her tears reflected her sorrow "she never felt the gust, the flow of mother nature"

The tears dropped dried on the floor

"I was the reason she was imprisoned throughout her life"

"Don't say that mother" her daughter came for the rescue

"I'm sorry, Inasha" she whispered

"No, mother"

Leon was deep into his thoughts

"I don't mind" Leon replied with a cunning smile "but…"

"Yes, what's the matter" Erachna asked

"The path I will walk on the moment forward, won't be easy. Maybe the gust and flow of nature will be infiltrated by blood and greed"

"She is my daughter, young man" Erachna expressed pride "she will become your best asset"

"Why would I disagree anymore, when it all turns in my favour"

Erachna was delighted. The fact her daughter will finally get the freedom she lacked, ignited her spirit.

"Myself, Leon" he extended his hand to Inasha

She moved gracefully, embracing his palm on her forehead- an act to show submission to a master.

"If my mother has chosen you" she stared at his pupils, dilated "then you are man worthy of support".

"Glad to hear that" he replied

He paused again jeered by another question

"No scripts ever mention you having a husband"

Erachna sustained her stance…

"Seems… I should change the comprehension"

The scene started changing, walls gushed, beauty nascent, and followers flourished. It was the past realm of Erachna, long before Tistra attacked the domain.

"Goddess, I am considering throwing a party for my fellow comrades" follower exclaimed "so would you join us"

"Sorry, Utah" she replied "I can't stay in tract of alcohol. But, I wish for a splendid evening"

The followers chanted her name, as she blessed them with her divine energy. And in the next instance the sight changed

Fire all around as several clans charred down to dust. Indignant energy and blood pool occupied the shrine.

The Goddess was left secluded to die. But a stray animal- a cat was left as a source of hope. She was her believer, keeping her barely alive. Closely the affection grew stronger. Erachna decided to give her a human form, a being created to be her daughter. That's how Inasha was born…

The mirage ended…

The story was told…

A treaty of a body in exchange for freedom was designated…

"Now the only endeavour remaining was to find Adam- Wimblen's brother" he thought

No time to waste he was ready to depart- but in that very instance he sensed a dark red energy. It was tingling and prominent.

"Goddess Erachna, by any chance do you have Grimgon storage"

"Yes, it's in the core of the shrine" she replied

Leon turned around, inspecting Inasha. He didn't sense any hybrid genes. The suspicion grew as he went for one final question

"By any chance, do you know about Adam?"

Erachna froze. Completely subdued by the man…

"How…" she was stubbed

"Your girl is a pure human child with no genomic complications" Leon's eyebrow widened "ain't I right?"

He was disappointed

"You lied again"

"How do you know about Adam?" She asked

"His brother Wimblen: I promised him to retrieve his brother" Leon stepped forth "if by any chance, you know about him, please tell me"

The wall sensed- emitting the grief Erachna reflexed.

The shrine trembled with her hesitation…

"Grimgon" Leon whispered "he was mad about it. He came for it into these dangerous woods. At first I thought he died here, but it seems he established something more"

Leon turned around to Inasha,

"How were you hiding your existence?"

He smirked and replied for himself

"Through Eradicator"

He switched back to Erachna

"If all the pieces adjoin here, right to the shrine. Then the mystery about Inasha revolves around it"

His eyes widened in deep shock

"If I'm not wrong…"

"Yes" Inasha replied "Adam was my father"

Was?
