Daryan's light sword was blocked by a metallic sword covered in sunset orange aura of Darya.
Darya pushed daryan away for a good few feets. Daryan stumbled and got his footing back. Darya stared down at her sword in awe. It was light weighted, yet the energy was immense.
Daryan scowled and let out a roar of rage because of the aura she was exerting.. And then his body changed.. Growing bigger and bigger, black horns come out of his forehead and his skin hardens and fangs grow out his sword also gets big, the clothes tattered on his new frame of 6'5 and inhumane body that was toned way more than a human could imagine.
Darya , sudhanshu and adi took a defensive step back as the impact of his roar hits them.
Darya looks at him and then back at her sword.. The sword was reacting to daryan by itself... Like, it was telling her to end it now.
Darya held the sword with both hands and takes an stance against him. Meanwhile, daryan completes transforming and stands as a demon before her the clothes on his body burns to ashes and turns into a blood dark red armour with glowing red grooves and radiating black energy.
Darya thinks to herself.
Darya:"so, he really isn't father..."
She clicks her tongue in anger and annoyance.
Darya:"he took over father's body and killed mother too... And now he wants to kill me and take my powers too.... If he's already so powerful... Just what would change if he got my powers too?"
Cartherina:"he'll become a demon that could destroy the entire planet."
Darya looked at the sword.. The voice didn't came from within her this time.. It was the sword. She looks at the sword and asks.
Darya:"you–... You are–... In the sword?"
Cartherina giggles slightly and says.
Cartherina:"what?... Shocked that I came out of you?"
Darya:"I am,... You–... How did you become a sword?"
Cartherina:"it's simple.... Because... I was the sword all along."
Darya looked shocked, and asks.
Darya:"you are–... But–... How can you be the sword?.... You said you were a part of my anger.. Made with my emotions... And then.. You were the black stuff that's one me right now as a armor... So... How can you be the sword?"
Cartherina was about to explain when the demon suddenly charged at Darya with a brutal blow of his sword... Cartherina, the sword raises itself up to block the swing but was slow as it hits and creates a big explosion.
The demon jumps back and stands with a narrow look and says.
Demon:"I didn't expect a normal human to block that much strength.... Boy"
When the dust goes away.. There was sudhanshu in a block stance... His glove burned and smoking from blocking the sword and his eyes narrowed as he looks down at the demon. The demon narrows his eyes and asks.
Demon:"what's your name you lad?"
Sudhanshu stood straight and nonchalantly, shrugging his hand which with he had blocked the attack, he responds in a cold and even tone.
Sudhanshu:"it's basic manners to introduce yourself first and ask the other later..... Seems like your mom never taught you that."
The demon frowned but responds.
Demon:"... Zakrim mukral.... Now, your turn."
Sudhanshu's eyes raised up in skepticism.
Sudhanshu:"Za–... Zakir.. Zakrim what?.... Are you from medieval or something bro?... And.. It's not even indian... Hell, that's not even Roman... What the hell is that name?... How do you even pronounce that, bro?"
Zakrim's frown deepens as he hears his words but, he tried to keep his temper and asks again.
Zakrim:"I asked what's your name, kid."
It wasn't a question this time.
Sudhanshu:"heh~,... Someone's eager to know my name, eh?.... What?.. You wanna marry me or something?... Sorry but I am not into men, bro... Find yourself a lady."
He mocks zakrim with a arrogant expression on his eyes. Zakrim was fuming by now and throws his sword right at him.
Sudhanshu ducks down to side and grabs the light sword's grip, using the moment to spin and throw it back at zakrim, which he dofges barely because, the sword came way more fast than what he expected from a human.
He thinks to himself.
Zakrim:"How's this kid doing this?... He doesn't look older than a teenager.. Neither that girl... This body is still not able to let out my complete power.... I need to think this through and do something."
Just then he saw marya's deadbody.. And he throws his sword at sudhanshu again,but this time explodes it just when it gets close to him and then.. He teleports himself with a snap to marya's body... He shoves his hand into the wound that was on her chest and pulled out a rainbow crystal from her heart.
The dust and flames of the explosion goes away as sudhanshu and darya rubs there eyes and looked at zakrim. Darya yells at him and took a run.. But, before she could, zakrim breaks the crystal and absorbs the mana.
His armor absorb the mana and the black energy coming out of the grooves increases readily, he let's out a loud laugh as the aura around him grows stronger.. His skin darkens as the energy increases.
Meanwhile, Adi, who was watching the situation from the side while standing by his grandma's left over pile of meat. He wasn't feeling anything about the situation.. He was just... Blank inside.. This was the second time someone died in front of him.. First his mom died out of disease, and now his grandma got killed by the girl he felt warm with... The first ever girl who gave him the feeling of love, he wasn't angry.. He was confused and out of place. He didn't know where to go, what to do. Should he hate her?, forgive her?, or take revenge?.. There were too many questions in his head, but, after seeing her and her mother's dead body.. And her words "this demon took over my father's body", he didn't know what to do anymore.
Few seconds later... He hears a rustling from inside his ruined house.. His father came out from the darkness, covered in blood and dust, he head bleeding and glasses broken.
Adi didn't say anything and just looked back at the pile of his grandma's muscles. His dead saw and held back his vomit, but the way adi was sitting in front of it.
His expression made his dad come closer and place his hand on his shoulder.. Adi didn't look up but, few seconds dater he felt wet drop on his head and neck.
When he looked up, his dad was standing with his hand on adi's shoulder but,... His head was gone.. Adi froze and stared at him, his mouth agape. He looked in front, the head of his dad was stuck on the ruined wall of his house with zakrim's sword.. He looked behind and saw that sudhanshu and darya were struggling to take him down and protect the civilians that were running around together.
But, that wasn't his care... What adi saw was... A demon who killed his father.
Just in a few seconds... Adi turned into werewolf and lunged at zakrim, tearing his neck with a bite.
It didn't took him long to make claw wounds on zakrim, sudhanshu and darya stood stunned. Adi didn't care about the civilians in the area.
Zakrim stood barely alive, adi Or the werewolf was standing with heavy breaths his frame covered in blood his eyes red, it wasn't adi anymore. It was just a beast on it's own.
Zakrim, sensing that his win is not confirm here.. He snapped and fell inside a portal.. But, The werewolf wasn't letting him off easily, he jumped inside too with a loud howl.
Sudhanshu also stepped forward as fast as possible but the portal closed. He punched the ground and cursed.
Sudhanshu:"Dammit!,... Tch–... Where did they go now?"
Darya stared at the ground for a moment and then looked at sudhanshu.
Darya:"Wh–... She took a deep breath... Why did you help me?"
Sudhanshu didn't respond at sudhanshu, he didn't even look at her. But, then he responds with.
Sudhanshu:"I don't know myself.... You killed my friend's grandma.. But then your own mother died by the hands of that man.. Or demon maybe... I don't understand you. You were killing the people, but, you were also saving the people."
"Just, what is it you want?"
Darya stayed silent.
Sudhanshu:"Talk!"
She winced at his raised voice but, responds with.
Darya:"I didn't wanted to kill that old woman.... I was just in a hurry to go as far as possible... But that woman saw me using my powers."
Darya explained him every thing and just then, cartherina talks from the sword.
Cartherina:"This guy is strong... Mother, you should leave this place before someone sees you both, the government won't let you go easily if you got captured."
Hearing that Darya was about to tell sudhanshu to go to somewhere away from here but, sudhanshu says before her.
Sudhanshu:"yeah.... Let's go somewhere else."
Darya was shocked, even cartherina gasped in surprise. Darya questioned him.
Darya:"you–... You can hear her?"
Sudhanshu looked at her with skeptism, and says.
Sudhanshu:"well, obviously... You two have been talking too loud."
Darya looked down at cartherina.
[Few minutes later]
Darya, cartherina and sudhanshu were above a sky tower with 50 floors. Cartherina told Darya about her being a sword.
"Cartherina was not just a creature of negative emotion, she was a energy, an energy made to fight next to enyo. The sword was cartherina from the strart, and the wielder was enyo thiera. The sword was meant to be used along with cartherina's consciousness, Or else it's just a ruined blade with no ability, only enyo or her reincarnation could wield this sword. Which was Darya in this era, the sword was placed in between on the village where Darya was born because it kept a shield above them, keeping them out of the eyes of people from the other side of the mountain, and also kept them alive for more than 600 years each. But now the sword has came out, and the power is lifted off the village.. The people and everything in that place.. Has become nothing but ashes."
