The Castle had already returned to peace.
The intruder was gone erased so completely it was like it had never even existed.
Kael Veyris stood calmly, as if nothing had happened.
Lyra, however…
…was thinking.Lyra looked up at Kael, eyes curious.
Daddy…
Kael glanced down slightly.
Yes?
She pointed to where the being had disappeared.
…Can I try that too?
A quiet pause.
Behind them, all his wives immediately turned their attention.
Ignisia raised an eyebrow, flames flickering playfully
Cosmyra folded her arms, intrigued
Aetheria's light shimmered with curiosity
Seraphina smiled softly, already knowing this would be interesting
Kael looked at Lyra.
…Try what?
Lyra made a tiny serious face.
"I want to fight like you.Instantly
some of his wives couldn't hold back small reactions.
Ignisia laughed lightly:
You want to erase things by just standing there?
Kitsune Reina grinned:
That's not fighting, that's… existing aggressively.
Cosmyra added calmly:
"It's not something you 'do'… it's what he is."
Lyra crossed her arms.
"I can do it too."
Kael watched her quietly.
Then gave a small nod.
"…Alright."Without effort, Kael created something simple.
Not a real threat.
Not dangerous.
Just a small, harmless entity made of light.
It floated in front of Lyra.
"This won't harm you," Kael said.
"Try whatever you want."
Lyra stepped forward confidently. She pointed at the entity.
Trying to copy Kael.
"…Too weak," she said.
Nothing happened.
The small entity just floated there.
Silence.
Then
Ignisia burst out laughing.
"That's not how it works!"
Kitsune Reina covered her mouth, smiling:
"You can't just say it!
Lyra frowned.
…But Daddy did that.
Kael calmly corrected her.
"I didn't say it to make it happen.
She blinked.
…Then why did it happen?"
Kael answered simply:
Because it couldn't continue existing around me.
Lyra tilted her head.
…Oh."time
Lyra didn't copy Kael.
She just looked at the floating entity.
"…You don't need to disappear," she said softly.
The entity glowed gently.
Instead of being erased
it changed.
Its form became softer
Its light became warmer
It floated closer to her, almost like a companion
Everyone paused.
Cosmyra spoke first:
"…She didn't end it."
Aetheria smiled:
"She changed its nature instead."
Elysia nodded:
"That's her Dao…"Lyra giggled.
"It's nicer now!"
The entity circled her happily, no longer just a target but something alive in a different way.
Kael watched quietly.
Then nodded once.
"…Good."
Lyra looked up at him.
"I didn't erase it like you."
Kael placed a hand gently on her head.
"You don't need to."
A pause.
"Your way is better for you."Seraphina smiled warmly:
"She doesn't destroy… she transforms."
Eternya added:
"Where Kael ends things… she lets them continue differently."
Oblivira spoke quietly:
"…Even I can see the balance in that."
Ignisia grinned:
"Guess we've got a different kind of 'overpowered' now."
Lycanthra Noctis looked at the glowing entity:
"…Her presence turns danger into peace."Lyra ran around the hall, the small glowing entity following her like a playful spirit.
Daddy! Look! I made a friend!
Kael watched her, calm as always.
…Yes.
The Castle hummed softly.
The wives smiled.
The infinite systems continued flowing.
And for once
"fighting" didn't mean ending something.
It meant changing it into something better.
