Returning home, Uchiha Ling took out the scroll Tsunade had given her, guessing it was likely a Medical Ninjutsu inheritance.
She was right; this inheritance included instructions on how to decompose Chakra into cellular energy, and then how to perform nature transformation for Yang Release.
It covered initial entry-level healing techniques, hemostasis technique, and so on, which rely on Chakra decomposed into cellular energy to slowly repair the body by activating its cells.
Following these were the most frequently appearing Mystical Palm Technique, Delicate Illness Extraction Technique, and Chakra Scalpel.
Once these Medical Ninjutsu are mastered, one can become a cornerstone Medical Ninja.
The hospital directors in various Ninja villages are probably at this level, with other skills depending on their specific specializations.
Techniques like Yin Healing Wound Destruction, Body Pathway Derangement, Strength of a Hundred Seal, and Creation Rebirth are all advanced applications of Yang Release.
Although Ling possesses Yang Release Chakra, due to her relatively balanced seven attributes, her Yang Release talent is far inferior to Tsunade's, but still much better than Sakura's.
In terms of Chakra control, Ling has even mastered the more advanced Monstrous Strength, so learning Medical Ninjutsu only requires knowledge of human anatomy and the properties of various medicinal ingredients.
Tsunade had already stated in the scroll that this knowledge could be found in Konoha's library.
The next day, Ling still sent a Shadow Clone to attend classes at the Ninja Academy, and another Shadow Clone to the library to study various basic medical knowledge related to Medical Ninja.
Only learning Medical Ninjutsu means one is merely a battlefield medic, capable of treating only external injuries.
A Medical Ninja, however, needs to conduct research like a scientist, including studying the microscopic structure of the human body, the principles of disease, clinical diagnosis, drug molecules, and pharmaceutical formulations.
In-depth research also includes the essence of Bloodline Limit, the connection between genes and Chakra, and the working principles of Bloodline Limit diseases, among others.
Ling is determined to become a knowledgeable person, so this Shadow Clone will be permanently stationed at the library from now on, studying various theoretical knowledge alongside the Shadow Clone at the Ninja Academy.
One reads books in the library, while the other borrows books to self-study at the Ninja Academy, listening to lectures on basic Ninja skills.
The third Shadow Clone practices hand seals and taijutsu, while the main body studies Chakra nature transformation and masters various Ninjutsu.
At the Ninja Academy, as Ling's Shadow Clone entered the classroom, she saw the quiet and low-spirited Uchiha Shisui.
For a while, Ling had rarely seen Shisui come out to train; Shisui said he was undergoing special training within the Clan.
Now, looking at Shisui, it was clear that after the training, he had received an unfavorable result.
"Shisui! Are you alright?" Ling showed a slight concern for her little lamb, lest she receive a message from the golden finger one day saying she had lost a stable source of emotional support.
"Ah! Oh, it's Ling. I'm fine, just a bit tired from training."
Seeing Ling, Shisui's brow relaxed slightly, and he forced a smile as he explained, likely afraid that Ling would worry about him.
Shisui had indeed been undergoing training during this period, but it was Root training; he had ultimately joined Danzo's Root due to the Clan's needs.
The family wanted him to be a link between the Hokage faction and the Uchiha Clan, but in reality, he became a double agent.
Although Ling became the Hokage's disciple, it caused a division of opinions among some elders of the Uchiha Clan.
These elders believed there was no need for excessive interference; they only needed to provide Ling with some support, and once she became Hokage or a high-ranking official in the Hokage faction, the Uchiha's situation would improve.
However, a portion believed that this was all a facade by the Hokage faction, a false appeasement.
Their Uchiha Clan had failed in their attempts to secure the Second and then the Fourth Hokage positions. The Third Hokage was already out of the question; Kagami had failed and was now dead.
Their support for Fugaku for the Fourth Hokage now seemed like just another failure, and now they were actually fantasizing about competing for the Fifth Generation Hokage, which was bound to fail.
In short, the Uchiha Clan is now split into three factions: one is the Hawk Faction, advocating for armed seizure of power.
Another is the Dove Faction, adopting a policy of appeasement and moderation, and the last faction is the Salvation Faction, relying on Uchiha Ling to become the Fifth Generation Hokage.
Although Ling was unaware that the Uchiha Clan had clansmen who supported and were prepared to follow her.
However, they probably thought that Ling was still too young and needed to be protected as she grew, so within the village, no one usually came to protect Ling.
They planned to provide three Jonin to protect her when she went to the battlefield, which was probably the limited strength of this faction.
Ling's reputation in the village was very good because she always greeted everyone with a smile, spoke politely, and often helped the elderly or disabled who needed assistance.
She didn't seem like an Uchiha at all, but after some influential and powerful individuals revealed that Ling had a quarter Senju Bloodline.
Ling was even more genuinely accepted by the villagers, because the Senju Clan collectively transformed into many commoners of Konoha, which is why so many geniuses emerged among Konoha's commoners.
These minor families, who had marital ties with the Senju, all had a great fondness for Ling.
Ling had once suspected that Minato Namikaze had Senju blood, after all, how domineering is the Uzumaki Clan's bloodline? Even mixed-bloods with commoners, like Karin Uzumaki, all have red hair.
But with Uzumaki Naruto, it was directly twisted into golden yellow, showing that Minato's bloodline was not simple.
And the only ones who could do this were those with Senju blood, like Tsunade and Nawaki; none of them had red hair.
Shisui's mood would only improve slightly when he saw Ling at the Ninja Academy now.
The reason he was in a bad mood was because Root's training was too inhumane, one could say it was utterly cold-blooded.
Various acts of framing, poisoning, assassination, alienation, incitement, and fostering enemies to gain power, had severely impacted Shisui's worldview.
Although he was loyal to Konoha, and Danzo described himself as the proxy of the fire will, he always found it somewhat unacceptable.
Because Ling had once told him, to judge a person, don't listen to what he says, but watch what he does, and observe for a long time; if he can pretend to do good deeds his whole life, then he can be considered a good person.
He found it very reasonable, and Ling's analysis of the fire will was indeed much better than Danzo's brainwashing.
Danzo clearly said one thing but did another; his words and actions were inconsistent, which was definitely not the fire will.
Danzo could be said to be loyal to Konoha, but this loyalty came with a precondition: a Konoha controlled by himself.
"It's good that you're fine. If something is bothering you, you can share it with me. I'm happy to listen and help you analyze it."
Ling patted Shisui's shoulder, acting like they were good buddies, which made Shisui a bit exasperated.
Shisui was unable to extinguish his humanity and completely become a member of Root, so he naturally felt very pained, because integrating into a group that does not belong to oneself is inherently painful.
