Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: A Chance Encounter

Blue wandered through the bustling streets of Neo Domino City, the neon lights flickering overhead as the city hummed with activity. The towering skyscrapers cast long shadows, and the sounds of hover bikes and chatter filled the air. He felt a strange mixture of awe and unease—like he was a stranger in a world that was both exciting and dangerous.

As he moved cautiously, he spotted a boy sitting on a bench nearby. The boy had spiky black hair, wearing a familiar Duel Disk on his arm, and was intently focused on a small, battered Duel Monsters card in his hand. Blue hesitated, unsure if approaching was wise, but curiosity got the better of him.

The boy looked up and noticed Blue staring. He gave a small, friendly nod.

"Hey there," the boy said softly. "You look like you're new around here. You okay?"

Blue nodded cautiously, unsure how to respond. The boy seemed kind, but he also seemed experienced—like someone who had seen the city's darker side.

"Name's Jack," the boy offered, extending a hand. "You?"

Blue hesitated again, then took a deep breath. "I… I'm Blue."

Jack smiled slightly, then gestured toward the Duel Disk on his arm. "You into Duel Monsters?"

Blue looked down at his own hands, feeling a faint spark of recognition as he remembered the Duel Disk on his wrist. He nodded.

"Yeah, I guess I am," he said quietly.

Jack chuckled softly. "Good. You'll need a deck if you want to stand a chance out here."

He reached into a small bag beside him and pulled out a few cards, then handed them to Blue.

"Here's a starter deck. It's not much, but it's enough to get you going."

Blue looked at the cards—an assortment of familiar monsters like "Blue-Eyes White Dragon," "Dark Magician," and some basic spell and trap cards. They were simple, but they held potential.

"Thanks," Blue said softly.

Jack nodded again. "No problem. Just remember, in Neo Domino, duels aren't just about winning—they're about surviving. Keep your guard up."

Blue felt a strange mixture of gratitude and anticipation. He didn't know where this journey would lead, but for now, he had a deck, a name, and a new world to explore.

As Jack stood up, he looked down the street.

"If you want, I can show you the dueling spots around here. There's a tournament coming up, and it might be a good place to start."

Blue hesitated for a moment before nodding. Maybe this was the beginning of something bigger than he could imagine.

"Yeah… I'd like that."

And with that, they headed toward the bustling heart of Neo Domino City, two strangers bound by the promise of duels and destiny.
