Chapter 12 - Selene’s Drama

INSIDE THE FACULTY AREA ::

Selene hummed as she walked towards Daniel's office.

There were two cabins, but the peon pointed at the third one a little far away.

"That one is Mr. Daniel's office."

Selene thanked him and walked over.

She knocked.

"May I come in, sir?"

A cold voice answered,

"Come."

She whispered to herself,

"Uff, his voice! Sounds like a ghost."

Then mimicked him,

"'Come…' Hmph."

Inside, Daniel was reading a file intensely.

"Sir, did you call me?" she asked softly.

Daniel lifted his eyes.

Selene looked absolutely breathtaking today — even he couldn't deny it.

He kept staring.

Selene blinked.

"Sir… did you call me here just to stare at me?

Please hurry. My friends are waiting in the cafeteria and I'm starving."

The word cafeteria triggered Daniel instantly.

Morning's incident replayed in his head — and his jealousy shot up.

He walked to her, grabbed her arm, pulled her close and said,

"From today, you will NOT go near any boy.

And you will NOT allow any boy to touch you."

Selene scowled.

"Why? It's my life. I'll live it my way."

Her attitude only fueled his anger.

Daniel grabbed her hair gently from the back and brought her face inches from his.

Their breaths mingled — hot, fast, intense.

"Your life… is not yours.

It's mine.

And I won't let any outsider touch what belongs to me."

Selene didn't understand a word — but she nodded quickly.

She just wanted to escape the room.

Without warning, Daniel scooped her into his arms and sat on the chair with her on his lap.

Selene panicked internally.

"Oh God, wrong girl! I'm Selene, not Mia!

Why am I trapped with this giant man?!" 😭

She tried to get down.

Daniel tightened his hold.

"Don't you dare move."

He made a phone call and ordered something.

Till then, Selene sat in his lap like a tiny rabbit.

Her 5'2 height vs his 6'5 muscular body…

she looked like a baby animal sitting on a lion.

A knock.

Food arrived.

Daniel placed Selene on the sofa and sat next to her.

"You were hungry, right?"

She shook her head.

He raised an eyebrow. 🤨

She nodded quickly.

He pulled her back into his lap.

"Let's eat."

When he lifted the plate, Selene's whole face dropped.

Vegetables. Soup.

Her soul cried.

Daniel smirked — he knew she hated it.

"This is good for your health."

Selene muttered internally,

"Haan haan, all heroes eat grass.

I finally understand heroines' pain.

Always being forced to eat ghaas-phus.

But I'm the villain, yaar… why this

injustice with me?!" 😭
