Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: This is a dream, right?

Angy:

I was in my room, lying down. I'd had a long day at school, and you might be wondering what grade I'm in.

Well, I'm in my second semester of university, and I'm only 18, soon to be 19.

I was a little bored, so I decided to take out my phone to check Instagram since my friends always like to post pictures, and if I don't like them, they end up scolding me and throwing tantrums.

But it doesn't start there, because I fell into a deep sleep from all the homework they give us at school.

Hours later.

Angy:

As I was waking up, I realized I wasn't in my comfortable bed, and when I turned to my right, I couldn't find my favorite Goku plushie. I always fall asleep hugging it, so it was strange that it wasn't next to me.

I overlooked something else, though: I was sleeping on a sofa, and I couldn't remember when I went to the living room. Maybe it was just one of those strange things that can happen.

— Now that I look around the room, this isn't my house. I must have left the door open, and someone took me somewhere else.—

I had said that, and before I knew it, someone had touched my shoulder.

I was startled and screamed, and it didn't end there. I ended up falling off the sofa, and when I turned around to see who it was, I was shocked.

Father:

He had arrived home early from work and hoped his daughter was there. He wanted to give her some very important news: she had been accepted to the school where she had taken the entrance exam, and it was a good school. He hoped to see her happy.

"I see you're here," she said.

But he was startled by her behavior and, somewhat nervously, said, "What's wrong? Were you asleep and I woke you up at the wrong time? I always hear you saying you love Goku and want to touch his muscles when you're asleep."

Angy:

I didn't know what to say since I was aware that I was talking in my sleep. Goku has been an inspiration to me because he never gives up against any enemy and always finds a way out of his problems. That's why I admire him so much, and I'm sure many will say I'm obsessed with him, and maybe I am, but it's my taste, and I love Goku, and no one will change my mind.

But I put that aside because I was blushing because of what that stranger had said, a man I didn't know at all, and it was starting to worry me a lot. So I just shook my head, and maybe I got the idea that I was dreaming, and I was so stupid because I said, "How do you know I talk in my sleep?"

A big mistake, because he took out his phone, and I could see he had a recording of me talking in my sleep, saying a lot of things I don't want to talk about.

Father:

Seeing his daughter's expression, a smile spread across his face. He enjoyed teasing her, and at this moment, he wished his wife were there. They both always made fun of their daughter for loving a fictional character.

"I'm sure your mom would love to see your reaction," he said, "since you always say things in your sleep, which is why we've recorded everything you say."

But he dismissed that thought, sat down on the sofa, took a piece of paper from his bag, and handed it to his daughter.

Angy:

Seeing how well they knew me, I didn't know what was going on. Maybe it was a tasteless joke from my friends, since they were the only ones who knew I liked Goku and wished he were real so I could meet him.

For now, I'd play along, so I took the paper, and when I saw the school logo, I was surprised because it was Kuoh Academy. I just thought to myself, "When did they know I watched an ecchi anime just to write my fanfics? They're probably subscribers and want to play a mean joke on me, though maybe I'll get away with it."

I put that aside and kept reading, and the surprises didn't end there. I saw my name, and it said, "Miss Angelica Hyoudou, you have been accepted into Kuoh Academy, and we hope you will do your best at the start of classes."

Father:

Seeing that his daughter didn't say anything, he was pleased, having observed his little girl studying every day. She was determined to study at that academy, which is why she studied every day and avoided going out with her friends, all to attend that school.

He simply placed his hand on her head. "Congratulations, Angy! From now on, you'll be studying at this school, so do your best. Your mother will be here soon, as she was also quite excited about your acceptance to Kuoh Academy."

Angy:

Honestly, I didn't know what was happening anymore; what I was experiencing was so strange. I didn't know if it was a dream because being so immersed in fanfiction had affected me, and I guess I deserve it.

But if it really was a dream, maybe Goku was there, and if so, I wouldn't miss the opportunity to meet him and ask him all the things I've wanted to ask him.

— I guess I'll go to my room now and try to make the most of this dream and use it for my future fanfiction. I haven't finished writing the third season of Wolf Girl and the Dark Prince yet, and that's thanks to my teachers who give me so much homework.—

I just got up from where I was and before going to my room I checked the photos that were on a piece of furniture and made sure that my brother wasn't Issei because if he was this would be a problem for me, but I gave a big sigh when I saw that there was no trace of him and that way I could be calm because if in the anime he was a pervert I would be afraid that he would spy on me or do indecent things to me.

Elsewhere:

Rias sat in her chair, watching her servants as they prepared to monitor the new students entering Kuoh Academy. She wanted to ensure no fallen angels infiltrated the academy, as this would cause numerous problems.

Looking at them all, she replied somewhat seriously, "You'd better not let your guard down and try to find out something about the new students, as we don't know if the enemy might be right in front of us."

After saying this, several voices were heard saying, "Yes, President."

At my place:

Angy:

Right now I was in the bathtub and I was surprised that my features had changed and I didn't understand what was happening. Just by touching my breasts I realized they had grown a little more and now that I think about it I might be on par with Rias Gremory.

I just submerged myself in the water and thought to myself, "So if Issei isn't here now, when did he arrive and what events have already occurred? I shouldn't have any problems though, since I've read the light novel and I more or less know how to counteract the events that happen."

Then I remembered that I had read a fanfic about me reincarnating in High School DxD and everyone who arrives in that world has powers. So a smile formed on my face since I must have been given a power like Goku's or I'm a Saiyan, but I just got out of the tub and put my hands at the same level as my hips and tried to do the Kamehameha, but I was disappointed since no power came out and I was just making a fool of myself. In the bathroom.

Although things didn't end there, because behind the door I could hear some voices and it was surely my parents and I blushed because of what I had done and I just got back into the tub and submerged myself and in the water I was cursing myself for the way I was.

Hours later.

Angy:

I was looking at the things in my room and was surprised that I was having such a big dream. This would serve as a lesson to me not to read Wattpad stories because they get stuck in my head, but I was just grateful it wasn't a joke by my friends.

I heard the door open and my mom came in carrying a uniform, and I knew which one it was. I could see how happy I was because I'd always wanted to cosplay as Rias or Akeno. Even though I didn't have their same features in the front, a little padding could fix that, but that was outside of my dream. Right now, I was probably competing with them.

I just went up to my mom, grabbed the uniform, and said, "I'll try it on since it's something I've always wanted to do. So, with your permission, Mom, I'll go change." I took it and went to the bathroom to change, and when I put it on and saw myself in the mirror... I really wanted to take out my phone and start taking pictures, something I always do when I wear cosplay, and I've never told my followers this because I'm a little embarrassed for them to find out I cosplay.

Father:

He also wanted to see how his daughter looked, since she was his only child and he wasn't going to miss her happiness trying on her uniform. He would record this to keep in the family album and remember this beautiful moment, so he simply sat on the bed and took his wife's hand, saying, "And you've already given her her new uniform, right? I'd like to see her first thing tomorrow morning, since I have to go to work."

The next day.

Angy:

I just stretched a little, and as usual, I got up early to do my homework and get ready for school. I went to the bathroom, and while I was brushing my teeth, I realized I was still half asleep, which I found strange since I should have been awake.

So I did what everyone says. I pinched my shoulder to see if a little pain would wake me up, but it didn't, and I just left a mark on my arm and yelled in pain.

"I must have something to do to wake up," I thought.

But things were like I had a new normal life; the only problem was that I didn't know this city very well. That's when I used my phone, since school started that same day, which isn't the case where I come from. Oh well, I let it go and just headed to Kuoh Academy.

Although she attracted a little attention, and it was probably because she was a new girl, something that really caught my eye was seeing Rias Gremory herself from the second floor of the old building.

This reminded me of when I used to watch Issei. — I see I'll learn a lot from this dream, and for now I'll just go with the flow and see what happens, since Issei isn't here. I only have his last name, and he's not my brother, which I'm grateful for, since I don't want to be put in the same position as him and his perverted friends.
