Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Fire Element Talent

The fruit was about the size of a baby's fist, warm to the touch, and gave off a faint sweet smell.

Aiden couldn't help but swallow.

This fruit looked really tempting, but he didn't know if he could eat it directly.

It was the first time he had seen this kind of fruit, and he was afraid it might be poisonous.

"Whatever, I can always die and respawn again." Aiden only hesitated for a second, then opened his mouth and bit into it.

The fruit was crisp, melted in his mouth, and quickly spread through his whole body.

Aiden felt warm all over, it was really comfortable.

He quickly swallowed the fruit and the small seed inside.

"so hot!!!"

His face changed slightly. He felt really hot, like there was a fire burning inside him.

This fruit was definitely poisonous!

He felt a bit scared.

The heat and the restlessness, his body felt like there was some energy inside that was moving around uncontrollably. His internal organs were being burned by this fire, it hurt a lot.

"Water!!!"

Aiden called out softly, struggled to get up from the ground, and staggered into the deep forest.

He vaguely remembered there was a small river here.

The river was flowing ahead, and Aiden's eyes lit up, like he had found a lifeline.

His whole body was already red, like he had been cooked.

By the river, a few small animals were drinking water carefully. When they noticed Aiden, they panicked and ran away.

Bang!

Aiden jumped into the water, his torn clothes were torn apart, and the cold water washing over him made his skin feel better, but the heat inside still kept burning, his blood felt like it was boiling.

He just sank into the stream, drank a few mouthfuls of river water, but the burning feeling didn't get any better.

Why didn't it work!

Aiden felt hopeless, he lay on his back in the river, his consciousness got more and more blurry, it looked like he was going to waste another chance with The Hundred Lives Book.

He didn't feel much fear anymore, the hot temperature burned through him, and he couldn't keep going, he slowly fell asleep.

The river flowed.

After a long time, Aiden slowly woke up.

I didn't die?

He was very surprised!

The burning feeling from before was gone, his whole body felt really comfortable, and his body seemed to have changed a little.

He carefully felt around, and he could vaguely feel some tiny red energy floating in the air, full of angry power, but it felt very familiar to him.

"What is this?" Aiden was confused, he reached out to grab it, but caught nothing. His eyes were empty, there was nothing there.

But if he focused, he could still feel that tiny red energy.

He guessed it had something to do with the red fruit.

"Whatever, I'll just leave this place first." Aiden whispered to himself, and brought his thoughts back.

He only then noticed that he was completely naked, and his clothes had been washed away by the stream.

Even though there was no one else around, he still felt uncomfortable.

Aiden just found some vines and leaves to cover his nakedness.

"Now I'm really lost."He looked around at the thick trees and sighed helplessly.

He had no choice but to walk upstream along the stream, maybe he could find his way back and figure out the direction.

Of course, that was only if he didn't run into that Flame Lion.

The Flame Lion was a 3-stage monster. It was super strong, and it could control fire. Daisy Princess and her men definitely couldn't beat it. They probably were in big trouble.

Aiden didn't care. These guys treated people like trash. They deserved it.

Rushing water

The forest was quiet. Except for the sound of the water, there was no other noise.

Aiden didn't know how long he had been walking. A figure by the stream caught his eye.

It was a Silver Dragon Guard from Daisy Princess.

He was lying still by the water, his silver armor shining brightly.

Aiden didn't take any chances. He thought for a second, and summoned his Ghost Spear. He slowly moved forward and flipped the man over with his spear.

The man's face was pale, and his neck had three deep claw marks. His blood had already dried up. He was definitely dead.

Aiden relaxed a little. His eyes turned to the man's silver armor.

This armor was definitely special. And he had lost his own clothes.

He quickly took off the man's armor and clothes and put them on himself.

He looked at his reflection in the water. He looked a lot more handsome and strong.

But his clothes were still wet and stuck to his body, making him feel uncomfortable.

He needed to find a place to start a fire and dry his clothes.

As soon as he had that thought, he suddenly felt his skin get hot. The wet clothes and leather armor were instantly dried.

"What?"

He looked at his skin as the red light slowly faded. Then he suddenly realized.

Fire element talent!

This was something only a fire mage could do. It looked like he had a fire element talent.

It was definitely connected to that red fruit.

Aiden was really excited. He focused again and tried to feel the changes inside his body. He tried to summon fire.

Phut!

A small flame appeared at his fingertip.

"Sure thing!" Aiden was super happy, but he quickly calmed down.

He looked at the tiny flame dancing on his finger. Its killing power was almost nothing. The only use it had was probably to start a fire in the wild.

He needed to find a way to learn how to train as a mage. Otherwise, his fire talent was totally useless.

Aiden shook his head and focused again. He kept moving through the forest.

"Help!"

Suddenly, a girl's voice called for help in the distance.

Aiden recognized the voice. It was Daisy Princess.

Was this woman in danger?

He hesitated, but then walked toward the direction the voice came from.

A big breath sounded. A huge monster appeared in the forest. It looked like a wild boar. Its mouth had two long, sharp tusks that looked like long knives.

1 stage monster: Razortusk Boar.

Aiden had killed one of these before. He could easily deal with it using his Ghost Spear. He wasn't afraid at all.

"Silver Dragon Guards!" Daisy's eyes lit up. She mistook Aiden for a Silver Dragon Guard and quickly called out, "Help me kill this boar!"

Aiden didn't want to deal with this woman. He almost turned around and left, but he hesitated. In the end, he couldn't bring himself to just walk away.

He immediately summoned his Ghost Spear and ran toward the Razortusk Boar.

Phut!

The sharp spear easily pierced through the boar's fur and went straight through its body.

The Razortusk Boar let out a loud, painful scream and fell into a pool of blood. It twitched a few times and then stopped moving completely.

"Thank goodness, I thought you guys were all dead." Daisy sighed in relief and ran over excitedly.

Aiden had a faint smile on his face. He turned around and said, "Princess, it's you again?"

"You pervert!" Daisy stopped in her tracks. Her eyes widened with anger and fear, and she took a few steps back.

"Damn it, you killed my Silver Dragon Guards!" She glared at Aiden, ready to tear him apart.

But she was just a weak necromancer. She wasn't even close to 1-stage. She had no chance against Aiden, who was holding the Ghost Spear.

"I saved your life. How are you going to thank me? Maybe you can give me your body?"

Aiden smiled playfully, his eyes scanning over Daisy. He couldn't help but swallow.

"You dare!"

Daisy thought about what happened in the cave that night. Her eyes turned red, and she looked like she was about to cry. She tightly wrapped her arms around her dress and said through gritted teeth, "I'm telling you, if you touch me again, I'll die right in front of you."

"Is that so? Then try it." Aiden smirked and took a step forward.

Daisy was terrified. She took a few steps back, stumbled, and fell to the ground.

She was scared of being violated again, but she didn't dare to kill herself. She shouted, "Pervert! I'm the princess of Oracle Kingdom. You won't get away with this!"

"Hmph." Aiden snorted. He didn't want to play with this little girl anymore. He asked, "Do you know how to get out of here?"

"No." Daisy coldly replied. She still had that stubborn, determined look on her face.

Aiden could tell she was telling the truth. He didn't want to waste time with her. He threw his spear into the boar's head, took out the monster crystal, and cut off a piece of boar meat. Then he took it with him and turned to leave.

"Hey, where are you going?" Daisy was taken by surprise when he turned around. She quickly asked.

Aiden didn't answer. He sped up and walked deeper into the thick forest.

Roar!

The quiet forest was filled with the roaring sounds of monsters. The sky was getting darker.

Daisy shivered. After thinking for a while, she got up, brushed off her butt, and followed Aiden.

The forest was dangerous. She had no way to protect herself.

Even though Aiden wasn't a good guy, at least he wouldn't kill her. But if she fell into the hands of a monster, she'd be dead for sure.
