The moment Zaja brought Lady Elyria to the courtyard of the Valthorne estate, the rest of the slaves present gasped in horror as they saw Zaja in pure flesh and blood, alive and breathing perfectly.
Most of them were present when Kael used a dagger to slash Zaja in several spots on his back. And they watched him bleed out and die, so how the hell was he still alive?!
In the Ironforge Dominion and The Ember Crown Empire the idea of raising one from the dead was absolutely abysmal, hence Necromancy was a huge crime or evil doing that was punishable by death or something even more hideous.
The reason for this was because the Mutation of Necromancy was specifically known to run along the blood relatives of anyone from Blackfield Gorge, therefore they would be termed as the worshippers of Tenzen the god of demons who was the polar opposite of the god Helios.
Zaja's rebirth was no doubt absolutely suspicious. But having regained her beloved and surrendered to his cock, Lady Elyria couldn't care less for the accusations. But, if the rumour spread beyond the walls of the Valthorne House that someone literally woke up from the dead, the Valthorne household would be taken as spies or lineage of the Blackfield Gorge and they would loose all relationships they had with the Royal family.
Determined to prevent those rumours from landing in the wrong ears, Lady Elyria gathered all the slaves that were present when Kael slashed Zaja in the back several times. What she had in mind was something Zaja had never thought of doing even since his rebirth as the Crimson Deity Vessel.
Her eyes flashed and she began releasing her Arcane energy outward, the heat from her body rose so quickly that Zaja had to do double takes to make sure it was coming from her. The rest of the slaves hadn't even noticed that their mistress was planning on frying every single one of them into ashes.
Before Lady Elyria took her mutation up a notch, Zaja stepped in and grabbed her wrist, stopping her with a disarming smile.
"That enough blood spill for today my Lady…" he said to Lady Elyria with a whisper so that only her could hear.
Lady Elyria looked up at Zaja and died down her energy with a concerned look on her face, "But they will take you away from me…"
"Let me handle it my Lady…" Zaja cut her off before she could finish her statement.
He stepped forward, clearing his throat before addressing the audience of over a hundred slaves.
"Bright day it is… Brothers and Sisters. I am sure most of you, if not all have questions as to my being alive and well with you today…"
"A few days ago, I was killed, stabbed in several location of my back and bled to death, caused by the son of our blessed matriarch— Kael Valthorne. But what most of you don't know is that, I might have stopped moving, but was I actually dead? It turns out I have a unique ability to hibernate myself whenever I suffer critical damage, using only Arcane energy to sustain myself until help comes my way".
"If not for the swift intervention of her grace... Lady Elyria Valthorne, I would have lost my life that day. So rest assured, I didn't die, I was very much alive and that is how I managed to stand in front of you here today…"
"However, I understand some of you might still think that the house of Valthorne is using necromancy, tying us to the ruthless Blackfield Gorge empire. All I have to say to that is this…"
Zaja's eyes shone red and the Shadow Fire came alive as he activated his innate mutation.
"You all have slave seals correct? And whoever lets that rumour outside of the four walls of this household with be tracked down by their slave seal and will personally be eaten by me!!"
"Is that understood?"
The crowd stood silent, starring at Zaja with shock and fear etched in their eyes.
"It seems you all didn't hear me properly, did I have water in my mouth when I spoke?"
"Tch! Come Forth… Naga"
Boom!!
A thick red cloud summoning portal blasted open behind Zaja and just like that Naga the great serpent and one of the Red Veil Arcane Beast that the vessel had control over slithered out of the portal and proceeded to wrap around him protectively.
The hundred plus slaves gasped and shouted in shock as they bore sight to the massive snake that exhumed massive plumes of hot air and raw heat.
Zaja furrowed his eyebrows again and stared at the crowd, "Do I make myself clear?"
The slaves immediately fell to their knees and prostrated into a bow to show their allegiance to Zaja's instruction.
Ding!
~The vessel has managed to intimidate more than a 100 people at ones~
~Hidden Quest: Scarecrow… completed!~
~Reward: Intimidation Skill~
~Intimidation (Grade Two): Each time this skill is activated, the vessel will be able to subdue the will of those present and impose an unrealistic fear in them that would make an ordinary man quiver in their boots~
~This skill is likely to be ineffective against a target that has higher resolve and massive sense of ambition~
'I see, I was able to intimidate this slaves without even using this skill… now that I have it, I could literally turn them into my own slaves as they have weak and feeble minds… although it wouldn't probably work on someone with high brain power like for instance Lady Elyria' Zaja thought to himself as he took a look at Lady Elyria.
She wasn't scared to death like the rest of the people present, infact she held her head high and looked down at the poor bastards.
'Hell, she probably thinks they are bowing to her…' Zaja turned and petted Naga under its chin and sent the snake back into its summoning portal.
Immediately the snake went in, the pressure in the courtyard died down by several degrees and some of the slaves developed the guts to raise their heads.
"Skill…"
"Intimidation…"
Zaja activated his newest skill and all who had raised their heads fell back down immediately into a stiff bow. The pressure in the yard grew thicker than when Naga was present and it was as if a god-like presence loomed over the slaves, and it was ready to slice their heads at any slight inconvenience.
The slaves broke out in hot sweat and whimpered in fear, this is the power of the Crimson Deity Vessel.
