Chapter 102 - 102. A Perfect Date

"I won't keep my girlfriend waiting." I said smoothly and hung up, feeling a little lighter despite everything weighing on my mind.

I walked excitedly toward our meeting place, my legs moving a little faster than usual, a quiet energy buzzing through me. The morning sun felt warmer on my skin.

As I reached the spot, I looked around, scanning the busy market entrance. My eyes quickly found her. Rose was standing alone, leaning gracefully against a metal pole, completely lost in her phone. Her long white hair cascaded over one shoulder, catching the sunlight and glowing softly.

"Rose." I called out as I walked toward her, raising my voice a little to cut through the noisy market crowd.

She was completely absorbed in her phone, unaware of anything around her. I walked right up and stopped in front of her. Only then did Rose finally notice me. Her eyes widened for a split second before her entire face lit up with a bright, beautiful smile that made my heart skip.

Looking at her up close, she was breathtaking. Every time I saw Rose, I was reminded just how stunning she really was, the girl everyone in school called Goddess for a reason.

She was wearing a cream-colored cold-shoulder sundress that looked absolutely perfect on her. The dress left her smooth, pale shoulders and elegant neckline completely bare, showing off her glowing, milky white skin.

Small cuffed sleeves rested on her upper arms, while the fitted bodice hugged her slender waist and perky breasts. The top button was undone, revealing a tantalizing hint of soft, creamy cleavage that drew my eyes despite myself. The dress flowed gently down her body, accentuating her slim figure and the subtle curve of her hips before ending mid-thigh, showing off her long, smooth legs.

Her silver-white hair was tied in a cute ponytail with a pink headband, a few loose strands framing her delicate face. She looked both innocent and incredibly alluring at the same time.

"Alex..." Rose looked up at me with a bright smile at first, but then her eyes narrowed slightly and her cute face puffed up into a small pout.

"You kept me standing here... hmph..." She turned her face sideways dramatically and crossed her arms under her chest, which only pushed her perky breasts up further, making her cleavage look even more tempting in that cream sundress.

I felt a pang of guilt even though I thought I'd get here first. When she called me, I was already outside the house, so I assumed I'd reach the spot before her. But to my surprise, Rose was already here, beautifully dolled up and waiting for our little date.

"Rose, I'm really sorry," I said as I stood in front of her, raising my hands in surrender.

"I thought I would reach first. I didn't mean to keep you waiting." I said, but she kept her arms crossed under her chest, pushing her perky breasts up and making her cleavage even more noticeable in that cream sundress.

"Hmph… you should have have run here when you know it's our date." she muttered, refusing to look at me.

I couldn't help but smile at how cute she looked when she was sulking. I stepped closer, gently tilting my head to catch her eyes.

"So… it's a date then?" I asked playfully.

Rose's eyes widened instantly. A deep blush spread across her cheeks as she finally looked at me, her pout faltering for a second.

"N-no! It's not a date!" she denied quickly, even though her flustered expression completely gave her away.

I couldn't help but laugh softly at how flustered and shy she looked right now.

"You are the worst." Rose's blush deepened as she uncrossed her arms and lightly hit my chest with her small fist.

"I'm going home." She turned around and started walking away from me, except she wasn't heading toward her home at all. She was walking deeper into the market instead.

"Your home is this way." I said, pointing in the correct direction with a smile.

She stopped midway, stomped her foot on the ground in frustration, and turned back toward me with an annoyed expression.

"Ugh..." Rose let out a cute, frustrated sound before walking off again.

"Rose wait." I quickly jogged after her, still smiling to myself. I reached up with my hand and hold her small and soft hand in mine.

"Don't touch me," Rose said with a straight and serious face, looking forward and refusing to meet my eyes.

But even as she said that, she wasn't resisting or pulling her hand away at all. We continued walking side by side deeper into the market, our fingers still gently intertwined, her soft palm warm against mine.

To be continued...
