About a couple months have passed now since the spar against North God Kalman II, also known as Sandor or Alexander Ryback. I have officially graduated from the Asura Academy and I am currently getting ready to move to my grandparents house in Ranoa. My reason for moving to Ranoa is because I plan on going to the University of Magic.
My grandpa, Rudeus Greyrat, and my Blue-Grandma, Roxy M. Greyrat, both teach at the University. This is a perfect situation for me too since I can finally advance in my magic! Maybe Blue-Grandma will teach me Water-King magic and Grandpa can teach me that one spell he used against Orsted. I honestly can't wait for the move!
One thing I am worried about though is how the place will be when I'm gone. Mother and Father will be here with just Adela and Mariel. They won't have yours truly there anymore to keep them company, especially Mom… She's the only person I can really talk to out of everyone in my family. If I ever had an issue or I wanted to hear a cool story about Grandpa, she'd always be there and tell me.
Enough of that though. I am currently in my room with two other people. My best friend Leo White and My soon-to-be-lover Kyra Cruel. Their reasoning for being here however is kind of pointless. They are here to be my "escorts" or "guards" while I am staying in Ranoa even though I can protect myself perfectly fine.
I guess I forgot to mention that I became North God Advanced over the past months too..? I'm still not sure on how I'm North God Advanced already alongside Kyra. Maybe because we were able to land a couple of decent hits on Teacher Sandor? Either way, I just thought that was something that should be mentioned before we continue on with the current situation.
On my left is Leo while on my right is Kyra. The two are currently staring at each other because of me.
"Oh my god. Kyra, does it even matter if you're with Evie 24/7!? You're practically with him almost everyday already!" Leo yelled.
"What does it matter to you if I'm with Everett a lot? You're only his best friend and a guy! Stop worrying over him and what he wants to do!" Kyra yelled back.
It's just as it looks like everyone. Two people are currently fighting over me. The reason why is still unknown to me. I wonder how long it'll take before they notice that they'll both be in the same dorm room as me? Hopefully it won't take long.
Before the argument escalated into a fight, my older sister, Adela entered the room.
"Wow isn't this room lively right now. Hey Everett, in about 30 minutes you need to come down to the living room! Mother and President Orsted will be there soon."
Holy shit! Orsted is here? In Asura right now!? Wait. Let's calm down before I freak out over this. Let's try to figure out why he's even here in the first place. Could it be that he's here to take us to the teleportation circles with no problems or is it because he has some important business to handle with Mother and Father? Either way, I'm very excited that he's even here.
While I'm over here excited, Leo and Kyra stopped their arguing.
"Well isn't that fun… The Dragon God himself might be here to take us over to Ranoa…" Leo said.
"I'm somewhat scared to be honest. I've barely heard anything about him… Well, either way. At least we can get to Ranoa faster!"
Kyra was obviously scared of Orsted, but that's alright. I can't blame her for it since everyone besides us Rudeus Greyrat descendants are affected by his curse. I wonder why it's like this? Oh well, I don't really care about it anyways.
"Alright Leo and Kyra. When I leave to go see Orsted, you guys just stay here ok? It'd be a shame if you were affected by his curse.." I warned them.
Both of them nodded before we all continued to pack our things for Ranoa. Before we continue on, I just realized that I have a cousin who goes to the Magic University! His name is Eli Grimoire I think? He'll end up being my Senpai if I go there so it'll be interesting to see him hah.
Once we all finished packing Adela came up to my room once again to come grab me. I told them to stay put while I went to go handle some business with Orsted and Mom.
That whole conversation is a story for another day however, so let's just fast forward to the point where I arrive in Ranoa with Orsted, Uncle Ars, Kalman III, Leo, and lastly Kyra.
"Looks like we're finally in Ranoa!" Leo said amazed.
"I never imagined it to look this beautiful…" Kyra said.
"Alright, before we head to the University, let's stop by the house real quick! I want to see my Grandmas and Grandpa Rudy!"
I was eager to go see them especially because it has been a while since I had last seen them.
"We'll see them soon now little one. Ars, Alek, let's go back to the office and write down what we had discovered in our most recent journey." Orsted said while looking at Ars and Alek. They didn't complain about anything and immediately made their way to the office.
"Now that I think about it… How does it feel to wear that helmet Orsted?" I asked.
"I don't have a problem with it really, but it does get annoying sometimes. If you're really curious about it then ask Rudeus about how it feels since he wore it one time." He said while laughing. Holy shit. THE Orsted is laughing.
Right before I was about to freak out, both Kyra and Leo punch my arm. I snap out of it and begin to make my way to the Greyrat Mansion.
It took us about 2 hours to make it to the mansion because we somehow got lost on the way there, but we finally made it. The Greyrat Mansion… The lights are on in the house, so that must mean everyone is home! Holy shit I can't wait….
"Alright Leo and Kyra, let's go knock on the door!" I ordered.
We made our way to the door before we were stopped by a treant. I remember hearing about how a treant was one of the household pets of this place… But it's somewhat annoying having it stand in my way. I conjure a flame in my hand and get ready to destroy it until I see the doorknob turn. I immediately put away the flame and stand up straight.
"Hello? Is anyone there?"
A soft gentle voice came out of the door as it was opened. The person who appeared in front of us had long, soft white hair, red eyes, and long ears. The moment I saw this woman a grin grew on my face. This woman right here is my White-Grandma Sylphiette Greyrat, my favorite grandma despite her not being my biological grandma.
I give a nice Asuran bow before speaking.
"Hello there White-Grandma, I am Everett Anemoi Asura and I have finally arrived after some time."
As soon as I said this some old man came to the door and saw me.
"Everett! Welcome grandson! It's been some time since I have last seen you!"
Grandpa Rudy was quite excited to see me since it has been a while. He invited us all inside and we sat down in the living room. We all got caught up on what has been going on lately and so on. I told him how I'm finally Advanced in North God Style and how I am getting close to reaching Earth Saint magic. The look on his face was amazing to see… But man I missed seeing him.
"So, will you be willing to teach me Water King Magic grandpa or will I have to go Blue-Grandma?" I said in a joking tone.
Almost immediately after that Grandpa's face went from happy and excited to sad and let down. I guess he really looks forward to wanting to teach me something huh?
"I-I was only joking Gramps, don't worry!"
"Really! Sweet, then before you transfer to the Magic University I'll teach you the Water King Magic spell, Lightning. And then if possible, this spell I use that ignores touki, called Electric."
After I heard that I was beyond excited. I then called over Leo and Kyra so I could introduce them to gramps.
"Alright Grandpa. These two people right here are my 'escorts' given to me from my mother. The one on my left is Leo White and he is an advance ranked magician."
Leo gave a nice noble bow to Grandpa. Grandpa also returned the bow… I forgot that our Greyrat family stems from both the Boreas and Notus houses.
"Now then, the one on the right is my other escort, Kyra Cruel. She is a Water Saint and is advanced in North God Style."
Grandpa's face was covered in shock as if he had heard something that was familiar to him.
"Kira Kuin?!"
I looked at Grandpa with a confused look on my face and simply asked him.
"What did you say exactly..?"
"O-Oh! Nothing, now don't worry about it! It's a pleasure to meet you Kyra, it's been a while since I've last seen Doga. Can you tell him I said hi whenever you meet him?" Grandpa said while giving a noble bow.
I can see a blush appear on Kyra's face though… You damn womanizer, you are exactly like Great-Grandpa from what I've heard about him from Ghyslaine. Kyra's mine old man, back off!
While I slowly got in front of Kyra to block her field of vision, White-Grandma called out to everyone for some dinner. The table was pretty full since it had me, Kyra, Leo, Grandpa, and the Grandmas. Usually Aunt Lily, Uncle Ars, or my cousin Eli would be here, but they aren't.
The dinner table was quite lovely since Grandpa was telling us tales from when he was on an adventure with Red-Grandma and Uncle Ruijerd. Honestly can't wait to become an adventurer soon so I can tell my own tales, or work under Orsted… But that was really about it for my arrival at the Greyrat Mansion.
