Divine power isn't necessarily omnipotent.
But divine power has the effect of striking a weakness against demons. Even assuming it just deals 1.25x, no 2x damage, the effect is tremendous.
I wanted to deploy one person who could use divine power per dungeon.
Luna at the main base, and Guinevere and Galahad deployed as needed to counter monster invasions.
But above all else, the battlefield where those using divine power could fight most effectively was 'enemy territory swarming with monsters.'

In other words, they could rampage most insanely in someone else's dungeon. Lune and Gremory blocked the enemy's total offensive using divine power like fish in water. Just the two of them.
"Gremory, leave the path climbing to the next floor alone. We'll farm the damage over time when climbing later."
"I can't help it if it's not controlling well!"
