Chapter 237 - 237: Bloodline Exposed

On the execution platform, Sengoku watched the blood soaked battlefield below. The plaza had already descended into chaos, cannon fire roaring as Marines and pirates clashed without mercy.

He lifted the Den Den Mushi and lowered his gaze toward Ace.

"I believe everyone here already knows Fire Fist Ace's identity."

His voice spread across Marineford through the broadcast, reaching every corner of the world.

Ace raised his head slightly.

"He is not merely the Second Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates," Sengoku continued, his tone heavy. "Nor is he simply Whitebeard's son."

His eyes hardened.

"This man carries the most vicious, most dangerous, and most unforgivable bloodline in the world. The chaos that plagues this era, the countless pirates who kill, rob, and plunder without restraint, all of it traces back to one individual."

At the harbor, Whitebeard ignored Sengoku completely, but the danger in his eyes was unmistakable.

"Portgas D. Ace," Sengoku said firmly. "Tell the world the truth. Who is your biological father?"

Across the globe, millions leaned closer to their screens.

Although rumors had already spread, the World Government had never officially confirmed them. Sengoku's words were the final seal.

The report from days ago was true.

"My Father," Ace said calmly, his gaze fixed on Whitebeard, "is Edward Newgate, the strongest man in the world."

Sengoku did not hesitate.

"Portgas D. Ace, no, Gol D. Ace. Your biological father is the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. A man whose bloodline should never have existed."

"Your mother was Portgas D. Rouge. Your father was Gol D. Roger."

Ace did not deny it.

Silence followed.

Then the world erupted.

"So it's true."

"The Pirate King really left a son behind."

"Boom!"

The air shattered.

A devastating force ripped across the battlefield as Whitebeard slammed his bisento into the ground. A shockwave enveloped the blade as he swung forward, splitting the air as though he were tearing the world itself apart.

"So terrifying," someone muttered. "Whitebeard…"

Golden light condensed.

Borsalino materialized instantly, forming the blade of light, Ama no Murakumo, and blocked the bisento head on. His justice coat whipped violently in the wind.

"Kurarara… Borsalino."

Whitebeard laughed, gripping his weapon with one hand and forcing it down. Borsalino's expression shifted as the ground beneath them warped and cracked.

Light flashed.

Borsalino reappeared nearby, his brows tightly furrowed.

This power gave him an ominous feeling.

A slash tore through the air.

Borsalino halted midair, staring at the massive trench carved into the ground, then at the man holding twin blades.

"Fourth Division Commander, Thatch."

"So scary," Borsalino muttered.

Because Ace survived, Thatch had not been killed by Teach.

"Kizaru," Thatch said coldly, his twin swords coated in Armament Haki, "don't interfere with the old man."

"How troublesome," Borsalino replied, lifting his hands in mock surrender.

Elsewhere, Diamond Jozu plunged his arms into the frozen sea. With a thunderous roar, he ripped free an iceberg the size of a mountain and hurled it toward the execution platform, blotting out the sky.

"Diamond Jozu!"

"That strength is monstrous!"

"Look, Akainu is moving!"

Among the Admirals, Kuzan and Borsalino had already acted. Only Sakazuki and Enel remained seated.

Facing the incoming iceberg, Sakazuki stood.

The temperature surged.

Magma flowed across half his body as he clenched his fist and punched forward. A massive magma fist erupted outward like a volcanic explosion, smashing the iceberg to pieces.

The shattered fragments turned into blazing volcanic bombs that rained down across the plaza.

"Logia type, Magma Magma Fruit."

"This is Admiral Akainu's power."

"That destruction… he's not human."

Fear rippled across the battlefield.

"Only Silver Dragon remains."

All eyes turned toward the first seat.

Enel still sat there, chin resting on one hand, legs crossed, his expression lazy and indifferent, as though the war meant nothing to him.

Yet no one dared to ignore his presence.

Then a shout rang from the sky.

The Thousand Sunny tore through the air, descending rapidly toward Marineford.

At the bow, Luffy pressed his Straw Hat down, grinning as he locked eyes with Ace.

"Luffy…"

Garp watched silently as the ship slammed into the harbor.

Behind Luffy stood Zoro, Nami, Chopper, Robin, Franky, Brook, Furious One, and Rose Queen.

The world reacted instantly.

"Straw Hat Luffy, Supernova with a 400 million Berries bounty."

"So Fire Fist and Straw Hat really are brothers."

"He's Garp's grandson and Dragon's son. Will the Revolutionary Army appear too?"

"Hard to say."

"Ace, I will save you," Luffy declared.

Steam erupted from his body.

Gear Second.

He vanished from the bow and charged straight toward the execution platform.

"What do we do?" Nami's legs trembled.

"Don't push too deep," Emma said, her gaze shifting between the platform and the silver haired Admiral.

At that moment, Enel stood.

The battlefield froze.

Whitebeard turned his head.

"Crack!"

Azure lightning split the sky.

"Luffy, look out!" Emma shouted, her pupils shrinking.

Enel appeared in midair.

Below him, Luffy reappeared just in time to see a lightning infused kick crashing down.

"Pfft!"

Luffy barely raised his arms.

The impact bent his body violently. Blood sprayed from his mouth and nose as he was sent flying, tearing through soldiers and shattering the ice covered sea, carving a massive gash before finally crashing to a halt.

He lay there, blood soaked, unmoving.

Thunder roared.

Enel hovered above, silver white hair flowing as lightning raged across the sky.

His azure eyes locked onto the Whitebeard Pirates.

A storm of pressure swept across Marineford.
