“All I ever wanted was you, Kaldric. You were the only thing I have ever desired, and at the end of it all, I couldn't get you.” My tears rolled furiously from my eyes as I finally accepted my defeat.

Kaldric took a careful step towards me, as if afraid to trigger me. “Alvira, don't. Put the gun down.” 

I brought the gun to my head, stopping him in his tracks. “You only told me you love me because of my heart, right?”

His eyes flicker in regret, and I knew my answer.

“Princess, please…”

I smiled. He hasn't called me that for so long. It's a shame I always have to be pushed to the edge to get what I want.

I look directly in his eyes as I mutter my final words, “No one will ever love you as much as I did, Kaldric. And now, no one hates you as much as I do.”

‘Bam!’

After catching her ex-boyfriend cheating on her, Alvira decides to accept a two hundred million deal, and all she has to do is take the place of the Axton family daughter and get married to Kaldric Verlith.

However, Alvira quickly finds herself falling in love with Kaldric, a man she shouldn't want, but her growing desire for him makes her turn her back on the money and the people who had hired her, and unfortunately, it was a decision she soon regrets when the man she loves turns against her.

"So how did it go?"  Gianna asked over the phone as I took a cab back to the penthouse.


I wasn't in the mood to give reports. I was still shaken about Luca appearance but Gianna kept calling me nonstop.


"She made me an offer, which I refused and now, she probably hate me."


"What was the offer, Alvira?" Gianna demanded.


"She believed Kaldric has a secret and wanted me to find that secret for the purpose of ruining him."


"Well, do you think Kaldric has a secret?"


"How would I know. We have only been together for days not months." I replied, feeling irritated.


"We can't make an enemy of Hazel. It won't end well." I wonder why it seems like Gianna was afraid of offending Hazel.


"Then what do you what me to do? She wants to ruin Kaldric and you want your daughter to remain a Luna, so I think I made the right call."
