Alvira's POV.
It's been a week now, and everything between Kaldric and I has been perfect. In fact, it felt like a dream, one I was terrified to wake up from.
Luckily for me, Gianna has still not been able to find her daughter, and Luca has finally gotten the message of him leaving me alone.
For the first time in my life, it felt like my life was going the way it should. The way it was meant to be.
I mean, what's the coincidence that I would one day take the place of a girl who has the same face and name as me? Such coincidences were none to zero, but yet, here I am.
It feels as though Alvira missing was the world trying to correct the mistake it has made.
Perhaps it was I who was meant to be here. To be born in this world of luxury and married to a man who makes me feel seen and so alive.
Maybe this was my life, my destiny, and after watching me suffer, the universe has decided to give me back my place.
